Wow, I was expecting a late upload as usual, so I just get back now to find that I'm late to the party and that it was posted three hours ago. Well, it's great to have MH back, now at a better time. Anyway, the self referencing humor was good, and I can't wait to see what happens with Tim and the new tapes. Also, that bridge seemed like a prime spot for a Slendy sighting, so I wonder if we'll see it again.

Fact: Most people are better liars than Jay.

Only gotten up to this post, reading the rest as we speak, but just wanted to go on record as being in full support of this theory.

Pretty sure that Jay's memory loss only encompassed 7 months because Entry #26 was the last bit of footage that he could access and watch. If Jay never created the Marble Hornets channel, his memory loss would've stretched much further back.

Anyway, I hope you're right about Tim seeing Jay as a person who can help him remember things. That could lead to some AWESOME character development kinda stuff.

Why wasn't Tim more suspicious? If he really did loose his memory then why wouldn't he wonder how Jay just so happened to come to the same town as him? And why he just so happened to be outside of his health clinic? With a camera. And then for Jay to still be outside when he walked out?
Plus, how long has it been since Jay first talked to Tim about continuing Marble Hornets? Why wasn't he wondering why Jay dropped it only to randomly pick it up again?

I think Tim remembers. I'm not sure why he was pretending not to though. Hopefully he will turn out to be a good guy. :/

I guess no one is going to respond to my comment on the previous page, so i'll ask again, since i'd really like some sort of answer.

What about Tim's leg?

Healed? The rock smash happened well over a year ago now.

But he was still limping in the last ToTheArk video, which was only four months ago.

And we have no indication that Tim ever went to the doctor for it. It should be permanently screwed up.

And, even if he did go to the doctor, he should still have some sort of limp. I mean, Alex crushed it with a rock.

They may be asking us for a tinge of suspension of disbelief in that regard because even with medical care, an injury of that magnitude would almost certainly cause a permanent limp. Either that or its been unaddressed as of yet how it was healed. By the grace of Slendy perhaps.

EDIT=Self-trout. I'm not in game shape yet, there are going to be hiccups.

What a fantastic entry! Marble Hornets never fails to entertain. Cannot wait for more entries, got a little thrill of excitement when Tim showed up and then another when it turns out that he has more tapes! Cannot wait to see where things go next...

Didn't Tim ALSO make videos during his memory blanks though? Assuming he made totheark videos. I know his didn't make as much sense as Jay's, but does that mean the totheark videos don't let Tim remember. If his videos did make sense, would he remember better?

Funny how Jay says "I'm glad I ran into you" he was clearly waiting for him outside the clinic. I'm surprised Tim didn't ask Jay how he knew he would be there.

I've been giving it a lot of thought, and it comes down to one of two possibilities.

1) The wipe. At some point – presumably in the Hotel Slenderfornia (that does not sound right) – Tim had his memory wiped by Slendy. He lost the memory of his time as Masky, or indeed of any Operator-related activities. His interactions with Jay are all truthful, and his motives, at least for the moment, pure.

Pros: Tim has been going to a mental health clinic for a couple of months. Sometimes, the simplest explanation is the best. From an OOG standpoint, it also makes for an interesting plot twist – Jay sought out Tim, seeking answers, and found a man who didn't even remember him. Also...

If Timnesia is real, and I think it could be, in a way it actually kinda made sense he was so nice to Jay. If Tim really lost that much of his memory, seeing Jay and actually remembering him must have been something of a relief. Here was something solid from his past that he was definitely sure happened. And when Jay mentioned Marble Hornets, that was something else solid from his past. Maybe he figures if he works with Jay on this stuff he can remember all that time he lost.

Cons: We've received TTA footage since then. Not a very large problem, seeing as Hoody (who had better be Brian) is presumably totheark. It also makes us rely on a plot point that happened off-screen, which makes me uneasy, especially where Slenderman is involved.

2) The bluff. Tim was lying to Jay, attempting to lead him in. He has no amnesia, ulterior motives, and/or is luring Jay into a trap.

Pros: Jay has been posting the details of his hunt for Tim all winter, so Tim would have had more than enough time to prepare. Tim was very accepting of Jay, despite his very stalker-esque tendencies.

I'm shocked Tim wasn't more in the thought process of, "Okay, no, .. stop. Dude, Jay .. Listen. Marble Hornets was shot six years ago. Just .... give it a rest."

Cons: Tim's never spoken to Jay before, even when it would be very much in his advantage to do so, and suddenly he is laying out elaborate verbal traps? Frankly, the complicated nature of it is what turns me off to it.

For the moment, I'll stick with Timnesia. Either way, I'm definitely excited for Season 3, even moreso now!

Honestly, what made me laugh the most was how Jay wasn't totally sitting outside waiting on Tim. He was just passing by, man.

Also, does anyone have the dialogue from when Tim phoned Jay? I couldn't catch everything Tim said.

But it's Tim's leg that was broken. The mask was off.

In this line of thought, The Mask doesn't control when he's Tim/Masky. Masky is a persona and puts on The Mask to hide/express himself. Thus taking off The Mask isn't an instant "off switch".

That was some mighty stilted dialogue there.

Only 10 pages? Lucky me, I was expecting more. As for the tapes, I'm thinking it might contain Tim's descent into madness as he changes to the crazed masked-man we fear. I'm hoping it also contains bits from Alex explaining a little bit of what he knows about Mr. Tall.

Oh Unfiction, I've missed you. Remind me not to stay away so long next time.

I like how Jay didn't think it creepy or suspicious at all to sit outside a mental health clinic for hours on end every day for, what, a week? Cleverly disguised as a patient, I see...

Tim seemed to be trying to blow him off at the clinic, so I took the phone call as "Oh, hey, guy obsessed with a forgotten student film. Let me throw some random crap I have from said film your way in hopes it'll distract you and you'll go away again." That's assuming Tim's memory loss is legit, of course. All the same, I expected someone to jump Jay's ass at the train trestle when the phone rang, so yay for foreboding atmosphere.
