Didn't Jessica have similar coughing fits and caused bits of distortion, too?

Jay seems to be excluded from this because of either
A) He tackled Slendy
B) He's "the chosen one" or whatever.

Jay seemed to have coughing fits and bits of distortion earlier on, such as Entry 16. I think the Operator has been distracted with Alex and Amy and other things since then, and his point of maximum Jay stalking has passed, at least for now, being distracted with Alex and god knows what else.

Tim, on the other hand, is possibly more directly involved with our Slender friend.

I don't believe the timnesia. I think Tim goes to the mental clinic to get his prescription pills/psychological help to repress certain slendersicknes symptoms/to stay sane while he fights/helps/tries to get the same as the operator.

Tim needs Jay. And I think he will be more useful to him when it seems like they work together (a lot like Alex was using Jay) instead of scare him into doing things as ToTheArk/Masky. He was quite fast to agree on helping Jay wasn't he?

All I could think of when Tim was talking with Jay was:

Guys, just want to give a quick reminder to spoiler any OOG stuff in the Entry threads.

As for the video... Jay really needs to learn to be more assertive. Tim seemed kind of sketch about the whole thing, so Jay should have said something along the lines of "I'll give you a call if I don't hear back in a day or two" after Tim gave Jay Tim's number.

A couple of theories here:

*The Timnesia is fake. I'll explain in a moment.

*The phone call is from Alex. Why and how would Tim have behind-the-scenes tapes? Answer: he doesn't. Alex does. Think about it. It makes sense considering he's the director. So what really happened in this entry is that Tim sees Jay, calls Alex in the clinic, gets Jay's number, gets the tapes and calls Jay back. Since Tim is working with Alex, Tim would then obviously know what is going on and the Timnesia is fake. I think it generally makes sense.

*The bridge is going to be a major location this season. I mean, look at it again. It's a perfect place for an Operator appearance.

I think that it's fair to say that Tim/Masky and Brian/Hoody have really been protagonists this whole time; they've just been incredibly cryptic. Leading up to this entry, there's been plenty of evidence that they're on Jay's side and simply plan to protect him and Jessica from Alex:

Entry #33: There's no evidence that justifies the attack, but it can be suggested that Masky wan't attacking Jay at all. That and entries 18/19 are the only ones I'm on the fence about.
Entry #35: Masky didn't attack Jay, but ran past him to attack Alex, implying that Jay was in danger from Alex and not Masky.
Entry #41: Hoody brought Jay's camera back to his car, implying that he wants Jay to continue documenting whatever is happening.
Entry #45: Masky and Hoody are scared away by something off-camera. Operator?
Entry #50: Masky leads Jay to the tunnel, possibly to show him the location where the killing in the previous entry took place.
Entry #51: Brian and Tim are attacked by the Operator. Possibly the origin of Masky/Hoody?
Entry #52: Masky SAVING Jay and Jessica from being shot.

There just seems to be so much riding on the chances that, whether Tim actually remembers he's Masky or not, he still may want to help Jay either way.

I highly doubt that Tim and Alex are working together. However, the question of why Tim has tapes brings up an interesting point: it's what happened with Jay. I can't check the entry (on my slow phone right now) but did Tim say anything about why he has then? Besides the parallel with Jay, it seems like Alex intentionally gave both of them marble hornets tapes, which makes the "I told you to burn them!" a bit more hollow. Did Alex just forget about Tim's tapes? Or did he want them to be seen?

The thing about this entry that makes me wonder the fact that the town around Rosswood Park is pretty far away from the S1 places.

We already knew this, but nothing else has been revealed.

So why would the Operator move so far away?
Is Rosswood the Operator's original home?
And still, why did Jay suddenly appear so far away? (red tower)
