One day Marble Hornets will conclude: How will you cope?

It's the day we all long for and fear - one day, Marble Hornets will end on a devesating fiendishly clever conclusion which will leave us feeling like chattering apes (or an ending so terrible we'll light the boys house on fire) and then it'll be over. Finished. Ended. Final blank screen and that thing that we shared together will be over. Jay, Tim, Alex, Brain, Seth, Jessica, Amy and Sarah will really be 'gone', their impressions only remaining. (I know their FICTIONAL! I REALLY DO! Smile)

Given the popularity of this forum, I think it's safe to say we're all more then a bit obbessive and we're going to feel the loss of Marble Hornets somewhat Smile So, how will you cope? (Given that many other Slender series are being wrapped as well, their might not be much of ongoing fandom participation)

I'm ready for it to end. I'll probably marathon it once it's over, or if there is a warning that we're on the last entry or 2 from Troy, I'll marathon it before watching those entries for the full effect. Not sure how I'll feel afterward, if the ending is really good, it'll make me a bit sad that it's over. I feel like that with the Silent Hill games (1-3) when I finish them, but luckily you can always go back and experience them again.

I will wait for the final entry and TTA video and just watch every single one. If the ending is anti-climatic I will kill everyone ever. If its good I will kill everyone out of sadness. Either way everyone will die.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to continue following Trosephim and see what they plan to do after Marble Hornets ends (according to this interview, they have several things in mind). But before that, I'm going to marathon MH. A lot. Nothing can fill the hole that Marble Hornets will leave once it concludes.

As for Unfiction, there will be several months of lively discussion following the final entry. But it will eventually start to die down... the frequency of posts will start to decrease, until one final reply is posted. Then it will all be archived. And people will look back on this forum and remember the good old days. They'll read the crazy theories and speculation we shared so long ago, and wonder how we could have possibly thought of it all. We'll wish that Marble Hornets was still going.

But all things have to end.

Except for Doctor Who.

I kind of wish MH was like Doctor Who.

I'm more than ready for it all to end (third season is KILLING the rabid fanboy in me with the pacing). I'll watch the final entries. I'll go see the feature length if/when it comes out in theaters. I'll buy up the DVDs when 3rd season comes out. Marathon it around Halloween every year, but I'm getting burnt out.

I follow a lot of the other slendyseries so they'll give me my fix, but the polish has worn off of everything I watch. I feel less and less compelled to really get too much further invested in anything else at this point due to everyone taking incredibly long delays for substandard videos.

Well I'll miss seeing new entries in my Youtube subscription feed but season 3 has sort of killed my interest with its slow pacing and anti-climatic entries. When MH is over I'll still have TribeTwelve but TT hardly ever updates anymore. Sad And I'm too lazy to try to get into EverymanHybrid. I've tried to get into EMH on like three separate occasions and it just doesn't hold my interest and/or is too confusing.

EMH is a mess to follow, I tried but it's like battling in 6 different fronts. Tribe Twelve hardly updates and is the same with DarkHarvest (and this last one have only been posting "recaps" of past events lately)

Well I'm ready to see MH end, but as someone said in this thread I will marathon MH after it concludes.

I have a talent for hitting people's feels. And observing nature.

I feel like the popularity of MH will explode after it's done; maybe because of the movie or because word got out that it ended. Even if it doesn't, I still want to see some legit Marble Hornets merch.

What kind of merch? I'm seeing custom made Masky masks, Operator dolls, posters, a journal filled with Alex's drawings, stickers, mouse pads, calendars, and cement blocks covered in dry blood.

Livin' the dream.

I'm really hoping that whatever series they do next in more comical, like THAC. I'm gonna need an emotional break after Marble Hornets. Very Happy

Having said that, after a while I'll probably start watching another horror series. So far it looks like WhisperedFaith.
