Yeah Neo Cortex. It was a projection of his head, but whatever. And yeah, the first one is shit hard. I struggled on it now, I could never do it as a 8 year old.

Personally, I always prefer Spyro over Crash Bandicoot.

Spyro was also known as the New Jersey Devil, right?

Yeah, I couldn't beat Crash 2 as a kid. In fact, still can't finish the last six or so levels.

But it's not as brutal as Crash 1, I don't think. *shudders*

And yeah, the Crash games aged excellently and were brilliantly made (and pretty well voiced- did you know Mr. Krabs was the voice of Cortex?) but there were post-ND games. The first two were okay, but the most recent two were... well, I haven't been able to bring myself to play them, so I can't judge them as games in their own right, but they're not Crash. The whole gameplay style, the art style, the humor style have all changed drastically.

Since we're talking old-school, Mega Man X, anyone?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Why was I always drawn to games harder than I could manage as a child?

Generations was a blast. I remember really enjoying heroes when i was younger too. Adventure and Adventure 2 were good at the time of release but having played them both to completion recently they really did not age well whatsoever. The battle game on GBA was also really fun back in the day

2 will forever be the best. Generations was the best 3d sonic by a landslide.

Bonus points if you are old enough to remember Sonic's Schoolhouse for PC.

I remember when MonotoneTim streamed Sonic's Schoolhouse over on Twitch.

I think it would be the most hilarious thing in the universe if Trosephim decided to troll the shit out of Serum and make Sarah the most important character for the end game. :V

I'm not saying she actually is important, I just think it would be side splitting fucking hilarious if Sarah is made important just to troll Serum.

Making Sarah more important is one thing. I'm pretty sure they're actually friends with the actress and could suddenly start featuring her again if they wanted to, they just probably aren't.

But I'm pretty sure they browse these forums sometimes, so doing so for no reason other than to piss of Serum isn't entirely out of the question.

Or they could make an entry which makes her seem like she's suddenly going to be important, and then abruptly have her shot and have no one care and never address it again.

Or this:
Quote:
Jay: I found a tape where Sarah dies. So as you can see, nothing important happened on it and it's not even worth uploading.

Side note, I've just had a delightful idea. Have an entry set in 2006 which starts with just Alex, and then Sarah walks in wearing the trademark hoody.

And then Brian walks in wearing an identical hoody. And so does Seth. And so does Jay just because. And then Amy swings by to visit Alex and is wearing a hoody. But no one notices one more character wearing a hoody in the background...

MM Legends is still my favorite game of all time. So underrated. I actually held the 2nd place spot on speeddemosarchive back in the day before some dude figured out how to beast through the game in under an hour

As I've already stated, I'll do an erotic striptease set to the musical stylings of Dolly Parton and/or Charles & Eddie if that turns out to be the case.

Oh god. I could image that being a special feature on the DVD or THAC.
