No, we don't need another thread for the THAC channel.

THAC ruins immersion for some people. Not for me, but for some.

I've never really understood that. I mean, Marble Hornets is fictional and while the series is brilliant, it does show it's low budget origins from time to time (such as The Operator, blood in season one and two, etc) which do, despite the boy's best efforts, take away from immersion anyway. Knowing that the creators also have a sideline comedy channel surely wouldn't take away from their immersion too much then it has already?

Not the same thing. A lot of people think MH is real until someone tells them otherwise.

*They're

My point was, fake blood might make someone question if the videos are real. Something like Troy Moves Out, however, makes it pretty much blatantly obvious that Alex isn't actually a psychopath out for Tim and Jay's blood. There's a big difference between "whoa is this real?" and "oh, guess not".

In my own personal headcanon, I like to think that THaC is actually a collection of Jay and Alex's old shorts from film school before working on Marble Hornets. This was them before Slendy appeared and turned them all into psychos.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Though with how surreal some of the vids are maybe Slendy did have a hand in making them. Rolling Eyes

Haha yeah, or the THAC planning, filming and editing is what they do when they blackout as TO proxies and it turns out TO just has an excellent sense of humor.

It doesn't even have anything to do with the "immersion" factor, really. Simply put, this is a discussion forum for Marble Hornets.

Troy Has a Camera, while being produced by the same person, is a completely different animal entirely.

I agree wholeheartedly, THAC doesn't deserve its own thread.

It should get its own subforum.

So, aside from watching Marble Hornets, what else do you like to watch/read? And without going into too much detail about ourselves, what else do you do with your time?

I'm trying to get into other lesser know webseries such as The Vault, The Public Diary of Andrew Lemming, The Library (more of a mini - webseries), etc. As for reading, Stephen King. No other author comes close to his level of writing.

I like to explain the mysteries of nature to random cameras I find in the woods.
