Wait, what? What are you uploading it as? And in what quality?

And there I go thinking my internet was bad taking 5-7 hours to upload a 30 min video.

So um I saw this and couldn't think of a better place to put it, but I wanted to know if Dr C. Digsby had seen this picture?

Your computer shouldn't matter, it's the speed from it to YouTube, so maybe you have a realllllly old router? Or just a bad internet connection? Or a bad ISP?

I got bad everything.

By the way , I saw the Herdtzfeldt cartoon and noticed Shane Acker (director of 9) was in the Thank You part of the credits

According to Wikipedia, Shane Acker has said Don is one of his inspirations.

9's one of my favorite movies.

I remember watching Herdtzfeldt's Rejected Cartoons at a summer camp years ago was what originally got me into animation.

I aim to eventually change that.

I'd hate to spoil my plans for the future a bit, but I aim to take up animation soon, and ,while I do hope to make funny cartoons, I also plan to make a vast amount of genuine art-themed animations that convey deep, philosophical messages meant for those with broad enough minds.

My mind functions completely differently than others and I perceive the world, life, and everything completely different than most. However my weakness is not being able to convey my thoughts and perception into words. Thus, I aim to convey my messages and thoughts through my art.

And from there, everything will eventually kick off.

Most of the time people look at cartoons as a mediocre form of art, meant to only be a silly wacky comedy-fest.

Honestly, I believe they are incredibly imaginative, possibly more than any other art form. The idea of art is to show the world how the artist perceives things in their own unique way. They CAN be funny, they CAN be thought provoking...

but I plan to change the way we see this overlooked art form.

That is seriously an amazing dream. Not joking, that's an awesome aspiration. And I do agree about animation- I myself have been increasingly realizing how much untapped potential it has as a field (there's a lot of good comedy and superhero cartoons out there, but there's no reason it should be limited to those two genres), and keep hoping someone will do something more with it. Good luck to you on that!

I have a reoccurring dream about losing consciousness for about eight hours every night.

Also, as a healthier alternative to the old (now locked, my bad, guys) Rage Thread, I think we should have "The 'I'm not MAD, I'm just DISAPPOINTED' Thread."

I second this motion.

And that dream is a little concerning. I'm not the expert, but in my experience that particular dream usually signifies that you have been...

... sleeping.
You may want to see a doctor about that.

I did, he gave me these pills but all they do is make me itchy and irritable because I can't relax. Admittedly, though-- I get an unusual amount of stuff done. In the time since I've been taking them, I've deep cleaned my flat about 6000 times.
