(If it makes you feel better I noticed you were gone)

Some other things you missed while you were gone, Doug Jones is going to be playing the operator in the movie of the same name. Trosephim say it gets their stamp of approval and isn't going to suck. It's going to be in the same universe, but have different characters. I highly suggest not reading the thread here on it, rather go to troys blog.

There's not much else they can say, though, even if the movie turns out to be a piece of shit.

Hey I'm back. Anybody miss me? What? You didn't realize I was gone? Sad

Anyway I finally caught up with everything again. Rewatched the entire series from Entry 1 and just got caught up now. I stopped after the entry with Masky and Hoodie kidnapping Jessica only to be almost killed by Alex only to be taken out by The Big O.

Surprised at how much has happened, though the time doesn't really make any sense at all anymore. Hope Jay isn't really dead. Hope we get a new entry soon, though I can see it being just more Tim at the campus, discovering Jay's blood and camera.

Wouldn't be the first time I said I thought the end was near, but something tells me this will go on and on and on. As long as there keeps being progress, I don't really have a problem with that as long as the end is good.

Hey Game God. *Grabs him in a bear hug* Nice to have you back, buddy. *Hears something snap*

Oh, by the way, sorry guys, I forgot to thank everyone for welcoming me back Smile

They could say they don't like it. I highly doubt they're legally obligated to say it's good

It's studio-produced, therefore could easily get screwed up. It's already pretty crap that the people at comic con got to see a clip before anyone else.

Thanks guys. A movie sounds like a good/bad idea and I'm sure it'll be good/bad.

There is enough stuff there for the Operator to be a great movie monster and all, but things could very easily get messed up. We'll see.

I don't quite understand that, either. Hasn't that been a stable of ComicCon for quite sometime? Isn't that why people head to ComicCon?

Have you ever been surfing Youtube and seen 'related' videos or channels that made you say "wtf"? I was just checking totheark's channel (hey, he could surprise us) and happened to see the list of related channels: Marble Hornets, Tribe Twelve, Everyman HYBRID, Caught Not Sleeping... and How To Basic. How in the blue hell is that related to a bunch of Slender vlogs!?

Happening all the time doesn't make it good. I don't see why the people at comic con are more deserving of a preview than people who can't make it. I'm not wishing I got to see it, since I don't have high hopes for this movie, I just think it was a bad move. But the type of thing I expected from the start with this.

You really don't understand why they show it do you? It's not because people that go to Comic-Con are "more deserving" it's just really badass advertising. It works like this: You show a short preview to a few hundred people at Comic-Con, the BIGGEST and MOST WELL-KNOWN geek gathering in the United States. A chunk of those few hundred seeing the preview are members of the press, who will then spread around whether or not what they saw was good. Saying it's pretty crappy and that it's not good people at Comic-Con get a preview before anyone else is like saying it's crappy that people at E3 get to play video game demos before anyone else. It's one of the reasons the gathering exists.

I understand, I just don't agree with it. Advertising isn't a good excuse to short change other fans. I think this is about as far as this debate can go without going in circles.
