If we're on the topic of things potentially in danger of cancellation, everyone please buy the the first two games in the "Zero Escape" trilogy of puzzle/visual novels: The DS game "Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors", (or just 999), and its 3DS/Vita sequel "Virtue's Last Reward. 999 is also being ported to iOS this month, though just as a visual novel, with the puzzles removed.

The creator of the series recently announced that due to subpar sales, Zero Escape Volume 3, the conclusion to this amazing trilogy's story, may not be greenlit.

Fair warning, they really are Visual Novels more than games, other than the puzzle sections, but they're worth it just for the incredible story and amazing characters and just, everything about them is amazing. The most underrated gems in years. How does it all end? What other mindscrew twists and turns still await us? We might never know. Please consider giving them a purchase.

So, you guys remember how I said I was getting a laptop for my mom? It came (and trying to teach her to use it has me ready to make crazy drawings of my own, only partially due to learning why people hate Windows 8 so much). And for now at least, she's watching Marble Hornets. Did not expect that. I may have my first convert Twisted Evil

By the way, she's in a different room. So I can't hear the entries, but I can hear the distortion. Quite well. The first time I heard that coming from seemingly nowhere I almost shit my pants!

She's 66, and yes, she knows it's not real. She seems to like it; she wants to get all caught up. Soon she'll know of our suffering as we wait for each new entry, desperately hoping for answers that may not come...
