To recover from the onslaught of feels from today's entry, I suggest watching (or rewatching) the Batman: Brave and The Bold episode Mayhem of the Music Miester! half an hour of wonderful musical craziness.

Someone needs to compile all the entries into one video but have so there are no title cards or text and the videos are just back to back. Including the TTA stuff.

I was considering doing this... the youtube api allows one to load a video from a certain point, so queueing up the videos should be a matter of lots of timestamp data entry. If it's possible to detect when the player reaches the end of a scene it should be possible to splice it all together into one long series of scenes without any title cards. It would make youtube cry with all the unused streaming, but that's their fault for not giving a more versatile API to us! I'm going to be travelling for the next week or so, but I'll see what I can do...

Just saying... make a single 8 hour video for each new entry isn't the way to do this, hacking youtube is! Smile

What I'm saying is that sentence is long and very technical. But it did make sense in the long. And hacking YouTube is probably the easiest way. I'm just incapable of doing so

Just waiting to see an onslaught of Brian/Hoody AMV's with Linkin Park's "Somewhere I Belong" or "Faint" as the musical overlay. Confused

Operator/Slenderman RPG

Hi, a quick question from a lapsed poster. Has anyone tried an Operator/Slenderman-based RPG? I guess Call of Cthulu modern would be ideal as the system (if such a system exists). I have a notion to try running such a game, but just wondered if anyone else had experience of this and, if so, how it went (as well as any tips for inexperienced GMs;-)

Also, I now Skype in to my group's D&D nights, as I've moved to the other side of the country. We got a fair bit of audio & visual distortion with the sound in particular reminiscent of Marble Hornets. I was suddenly terrified, and I realised I was expecting to see the Operator in the background. Pavlovian conditioning FTW!

So that's what Brian does when he's not stalking Jay or stealing Tim's pills...

Oh awesome. A Slenderman/MH d20 style tabletop rpg would be pretty cool. Have you ever played Arkham Horror, that's a pretty fun board game based on Cthulu? I reckon you could do that but replace it with CreepyPasta mythos instead of Cthulu mythos.

Re: Operator/Slenderman RPG

I haven't...yet! That sounds intriguing, will certainly give it a look, it sounds like it'd be a lot of fun…trouser-drenching terrifying fun, but fun nonetheless. Many thanks!

Think I'll also try to RPG, will let you know how it goes...
