I am offended by that image! It doesn't have an Operator symbol.

@Lithp

In KH I I usually take the sword and discard the shield, although in my current game I took the staff and discarded the shield I think. I liked magnet, good for drawing enemies in, I do like stop as well tho. I missed being able to wail on stopped enemies that was cool. Wisdom form was kinda lame, Final Form was amazing for magic you could combo magic with it which is cool. I actually prefered the old controls for KH I using the right analog stick to move the menu and L2 and R2 for the camera, it was a lot better but I do like having triangle for your reaction commands in KH I.

By "controls" I mean more subtle things, like how the characters in Birth By Sleep have different types of swings depending on where the enemies are in relation to them.

I always had a thing for Anti-Form. If they gave the ability to select Anti-Form & took away its No EXP ability, that would be perfect, for me.

Anti-Form? I don't remember that one. I know in KH I the different swings deal different amounts of damage, and he does do slightly different swings depending on where the enemy is.

He really doesn't. If the enemy is behind you, he'll turn around & slash. If they're in the air, he'll jump, but sometimes, the system doesn't even know when to do that. You can equip abilities that will give him some other skills, but I don't count that, because it's like FFXII's "you need a license to know how to wear a hat" problem.

It's very difficult to explain, but in various ways, the attacking system improves throughout the series. And there are a lot of small things like that, which really add up.

Anti-Form was a form where Sora became almost like a Neoshadow & attacked with claws & dark powers. It was designed to punish the player for using Drive Forms too much, so it has a boatload of drawbacks, but it's really cool. Also, if you've used Anti-Form a lot (which I have, thanks to save scumming), you can find ways to work around its weaknesses & make it really effective.

FFXII is great, don't go hating on it. Apparently the international version has actual jobs in it that make it a lot better and makes more sense for your characters, like you pick what job you want them to have when you meet them and can't change it.

I don't really remember the attacking things in the other KH games mainly as I haven't played them as much as KH I, and I've really only played II other than I.

And yeah, I never got Anti-form as I never used forms that much. I think I bet Sephiroth without using any at lv 70 or something. I don't really remember tho

Update #14 for the Kickstarter backers (it's like entires all over again)

"This past weekend we were able to go to Anime Blues Con in Memphis, where we met a bunch of great people and had a nice turnout to our panels. In our first one, we were able to brag about all of our awesome Kickstarter backers!
http://youtu.be/Rg1OKzyjkwg

We'll be appearing at several more conventions in the coming months. You can see our schedule for that over here. We're still trying to get to the West coast, so if you're out that way and know of a con that might be interested in having us, let us know!

On the DVD side of things, Tim is finishing putting together the remastered Season 1 right now. We're hoping to be able to bring it with us when we go to Connecticon in a couple of weeks, but that's all up in the air right now as we're still finalizing everything and seeing what kind of printing timeline we have to work with.

And finally, we're working on getting a new shirt design to add to the THAC Store in honor of the conclusion of Marble Hornets. It's not quite ready to show just yet, but it should be soon.

I actually do hate FFXII.

Well, not counting the Final Mix addition of Limit Form, Drives can't be used against Sephiroth. Unsurprisingly, Reflect will wreck his shit.

I was being sarcastic about FFXII, I forget it's hard to tell over the internet. It was kinda horrible.

Oh well there you go then, if you can't use forms, you can't use forms. Shows how long it's been since I've played that game. Yeah, I had Ultima weapon I believe and just wrecked him from what I remember. I think I used all my elixirs tho trying to beat him.

Ah. That would explain the rest of your comment. It would probably be easier to tell if FF12 wasn't so strangely popular despite all of the numerous things that people hate about it. From what I've read, the international version does fix a number of things, but other problems still persist. I heard that the director actually quit on the game halfway through.

Sounds about like how I handled it. I only discovered that Reflect was useful against him later.

It's pretty ridiculous just how powerful Reflect is. First, it can block ANY move in the game. Multi-hit means nothing since, if the barrier is hit, it will allow you to cast Reflect again. Second of all, the damage it does is physical, but passes through defenses like magic does. Third of all, its attack power is equal to the enemy's, & it hits multiple times.

All of this for just 10 MP. Yeah.

This, incidentally, is a reason why I am thinking of playing II.5 on a higher difficulty level.

Yeah I remember using reflect against the last boss, I think it was the last boss or it might of been the 2nd to last one, with his stupid missile attacks. I just cast reflect when he went to do that and was like, "Ok, I'll sit here until you finish with that and let me hit you.". That and guard.

Guard is so much more improved in KHII compared to I as you can hold it there rather than trying to time the block and half the time missing, so I used used Dodge Roll the whole time in KHI.

Oh and glide, how you can glide for infinity somehow. I forget how you did it.

I don't really remember that. I'm fine with KH1 Guard. I've actually gone through over half of the game just whacking attacks with my own.

Glide at maximum level? That was sort of a nice addition. By that point in the game, I'm obviously using Glide because walking is beneath me, I don't want to land.
