So, series two of the Channel 4 series "Black Mirror" started today. Just got through watching the episode and...it was rather good, albeit sad.

(Channel 4 being the UK channel, of course)

That show is so creepy. The kind of creepy that is just lurking there constantly; it's really unsettling.

Really good episode. I like how the ginger ended up in the attic, like those other pictures he was talking about at the start of the episode. That's pretty much what he is too: a very advanced picture.

Slender: the arrival beta is out now. Sounds like fun, you can also preorder it for $5.

Good support for Jay and co. And they should be just about done with it, right?

They've been finished with it for a while, now.

Speaking of off-topic stuff, if anyone's looking to get me something for Valentine's Day, I'd like a quart of Admiral Nelson's Spiced Rum, a bottle of 5000mg Percocets and The Cure's entire discography from iTunes.

Note to self: make sure the Skype recorder is actually recording before I start the podcast tonight.

Just realized that Troy hasn't posted his usual "uninteresting, unspoilery" screenshot from the new Entry, and 67 is apparently going to be posted soon? Huh.

So someone made a full-lenght, 11k budget movie about Slenderman.

Haven't watched it, but I figured people would be interested.

The punchline for Black Mirror episode 2.02 is that People Are Actually Just Like That.

Location: If I told you, would you believe me?

Hi there; I've been lurking here for a while and finally decided to join. If I recall correctly, two people were talking about parodying Culling of the Fold by The Decemberists with MH lingo some time back. After messing with the lyrics, I took the liberty to write this:

Cut him up, Jay.
You've got to cut him up, Jay.
He's a wicked disgrace,
And he doesn't have a face.
You better cut him up, Jay.

Take him by the tie,
Put an end to the lies
With your hands all shaking.
That'll teach him how to take it.
Gotta cut him up, Jay.
(And how...)

Ply your heart with good intel.
Take your sweetheart down to the hotel.

Dash the mask on paving stones.
It may break your heart to break in homes,
But someone's got to do the culling...
Of the fold.
(Oh, oh oh.)

Cut him up, Al.
Really cut him up, Al.
He lives by himself,
In a forest in a park.
You've got to cut him up, Al.

You can take him in a stitch,
Dump his body in a ditch,
Leave him for the Operator.
That'll feed your wicked anger.
Better cut him up Al.
(And how...)

Ply their hearts before they're funneled.
Take your old friends down to the tunnel.

Dash Tim with a paving stone.
Your heart won't break to break his bones,
For someone's got to do the culling...
Of the fold.
(Oh..)

Listen up, Jay,
And listen up, Al.
Someone's searching for the ark,
And he's watching in the dark.
He's a scary little pal.

Feeling like you lack a face?
Could you use a little space
When the radio crackles
And the proxies cackle?

Better cut him up, Jay,
And cut him up, Al.

Watch the tapes from Marble Hornets.
Take your cameras down to the forest.

Dash from Slim 'cross paving stones.
It may break your hearts to break his throne,
But someone's got to do the culling...
Of the fold.
Oh, the culling...
Of the fold.
(Oh, oh, oh, oh!)

That was beautiful. And morbid. Beautifully morbid and instantly my favorite post on this forum so far.
