I don't think they need to though. In my opinion, the attempt Hoodie and Masky made on Alex's life fulfills the threat TTA made. They don't need to do anything special for 4/4

There is no strict rule regarding flow of time in the series. The sequence of Tweets posted by Jay are happening in real time, as well as the dates when videos are posted.

As for the events of the videos, we must rely on context clues given in the videos or Tweets to know when they took place.

I think they are supposed to be in their late 20s, even if they don't quite look it. Aside from the time gone by since they went to college, one of the first combinations Jay tries on the safe in Entry #28 is 1985. If that's his birth year, he would be in his late 20s, fitting with the time frame.

EDIT: The year of the timestamp in enttry #37 is 1991, so if the tape is to be believed, Alex was a young child in that year. This fits with the above two points, Alex would be in his late 20s or early 30s by this point.

Well it's not been established in the form that it's part of the story or anything. I'm saying that it's been established in the sense that a week in MH time is not a week in our time.

Perfect example is Entry #32 and Entry #33 where in Entry 32 Jay says he's going to go right next door to Jessica's room but is uploading the entry before he goes over. 33 is supposed to take place right after 32 and yet it took a week before it was uploaded. I highly doubt Jay took a week to go next door, or even intentionally waited a week before uploading.[/i]

Yeah, that's because he moved to a new location during that time. Just because the video was uploaded a week later doesn't mean Jay took a week to walk next door.

He uploaded entry 32 then went next door, those events happened, and a week later he posted 33.

This is certainly happening in real time. Our universe and the universe of Marble Hornets is supposed to be the same. You have to remember nothing can be posted right as it happens, so there can always be a reason as to why it's not uploaded right away.
