I Have been silent for a long time, but have been watching with great intent, though i do not know anything for sure, let me start with observations and theories i have.

First the operator, it has been suggested that the operator uses some form of quantum mechanics, this explains alot, i like to think of him/it as a semi 3.5 dimensional being (almost being forth dimension). I theorize that this life form we call the operator is more a quantum machine hybrid. Something that can store itself in compatible (or nearly compatible) electrical matrix. Water seems to be a theme, since water is always in motion someplace in any body of water would be a nearly compatible matrix given the electron in water. Some people seem more prone to the operator, i remind you that the brain holds about an amp of electricity, and since each person is different, the electrical matrix in their brains are different (hence people have different personalities.) It may well be that the operator can be in two places at once but only in two forms, this means spreading ones awareness thin, also from the way the operator moves i think he is much much heavier than he looks, if he wasn't quantum he may well be godzilla sized. A temporary vessel may be a camera (being that he has no eyes of his own we can see) hence the distortion, the operator may be in a camera if you notice over heating (as the current problem with quantum machines is, they overheat)

The Sickness: I have noted that the coughing is coming from the upper chest, not the lower. If The operator was trying to infiltrate the electrical matrix of a brain, it would make sense that small veins in the back of the sinuses would rupture, if the lungs were bleeding they would die very quickly (day at the most). I think the sickness is caused by the spike of bio energy when the operator tries to take over a mental electrical matrix.

Beyond that, all the players that have m,ade it to the field are confused and very lost. They lack the skill to document well, they also don't make as many notes to themselves (to the camera) as a trained investigator would.
The lack of experntamintation saddens me. Make an electro magnet see if that affects him, place magnetized iron shavings into bodies of water near sighting spots, set a trap, if he can store/impose himself in a compatible electrical matrix, its a two way door with such energy transfusions. have him step on a conductor that is D/C you could humorously store him in a flash drive (given you didn't melt it with too much power).

Food for thought, have fun.

Question: Do we know what is Tim's medicine? I mean, what are the pills he took in entry #65?
I know that Jay found a bottle of Ibuprofen in his bag when Season 2 started, but was it ever confirmed that they were Tim's medicine?

They're most likely the anti-Masky pills that his doctor has been prescribing him, which are similar to the pills Jay found in Brian's house in Season 1, but maybe a stronger variation. After all, in Entry #58 Tim is talking to his doctor on the phone, and tells him that the new medication has really been working, so they're probably a bit different.

The ibuprofen that Jay found in early season 2 is either a red herring or a dropped plot point. Maybe Jay was originally going to be getting headaches and stuff towards the end of the seven months, as part of a slendysickness.

It would've been cool if Jay did some clever switcharoo thing with Tim's pills, kinda like what he did with the 56-42 tape, by putting the prescription pills in an ibuprofen container. But the ibuprofen were orange, not white like Tim's pills.

So, I haven't been here in a while, so I don't know if anybody's done this yet or not. Plus, it's not really that important, but boredom leads to things.

I decided to sync up the clips from Entry #65 that match with Entry #64, just for the sake of it being neat. The only thing that sticks out is that the video from Tim looking for the shed doesn't match up with his movement in #64, but the auto matches perfectly.

You know, I just thought of something. We just now got the video of Tim's Adventures in Slendyland. Did he just get back, or has he been back and Jay just now got off his butt to upload the video? If the former, then we might have to wait a while for another video. If the latter, then we could possibly get a video of their visit to the hospital rather soon, although I'm not holding my breath for it.

For definite, friend! It's just like childhood game of hide and find, only where we go sidewards!

ToTheArk has used "drowning" as a metaphor for being taken by The Operator, but this has proven to be more literal with the past entry.
Tim surfaces from a stream in Entry 65 after being taken by The Operator.
Maybe the creek in Rosswood is the reason for the Operator's existence, the cause of distortion and even Tim's sickness. The water has mysterious properties that cause distortions in cameras from something that I hope would go unexplained. Tim has contracted his chronic illness from inhaling water into his lungs. He smokes cigarettes in order to mask (heh) the nature of his cough. This could also explain why Tim causes audiovisual distortion, but doesn't make sense in the case of Jessica.
The water caused distortion in Entry 41 when ToTheArk had Jay's camera and has occasionally caused brief distortion when the camera passes the stream or crosses a bridge going over it.

I deduce that the water must be cursed by the old lady from the antiques store.

Sorry if someone's already mentioned this, but I thought it might be significant. Any idea why Tim was attacking the 'He's a liar' wall?

The only thin I could think of was that when he was... what ever he was at the time, he remembered something about someone. I'm starting to wonder if that message wasn't for Jay at all. (If I remember correctly, that's what was to be assumed when he found it)

So, if that was the case, I'm just wondering who it would mean. Alex springs to mind, which would make a lot of sense, after the whole, you know, dragging him to the hospital to be Operator food thing.

But maybe it's not. I've wondered for a long time whether Jay is a reliable narrator. Could it be hinting at something? Or is that just the lack of sleep talking?

I figure he's just frustrated by the dude that's stalking him, swiping his meds, and writing incriminating messages about him on walls.

Some theories.

Firstly; the obligatory "long time lurker first time poster" line. Now that formality is out of the way, there's a few theories I hadn't seen discussed, or a least, hadn't seen developed, that I'd like to put out there.

Before I start, I'd also like to say feel free to debunk, ignore or otherwise berate and belittle me and anything I'm about to say, as I do sometimes get confused with the timeline of events, and I'm sure I'll be eating humble pie in no time. Now, down to business.

This comes from reading in another thread, that Alex hasn't appeared in any recent, present day entries, which I found quite interesting - it was established that the closest he'd come to appearing, was to say "Leave, now", down the phone in entry 64.

This reminded me of the ToTheArk video, "Indicator" - the doll with the phone's "Operator" button over the eye. The video appears a few entries and one TTA response after entry 37, showing Alex as a child, with the Operator symbol on his face, and the Operator in the background.

I've seen several people, albeit maybe in the past, suggesting this means that Alex has been being followed and attacked by The Operator all his life, which is possibly true. The part I want to suggest, is the meaning of the Operator button on the doll (which, in theory, represents Alex), and the symbol on his face in Entry 37.

Instead of these meaning Alex is being controlled by, or possessed by the Operator, It could be possible that Alex has actually become The Operator, or rather, The Operator has consumed him in some way, so he is now part of The Operator's being - hence why Alex hasn't actually appeared in present day for a long time. This leads me back to the Operator button, from a phone - having consumed Alex, The Operator was able to use his voice via the phone telling Tim and Jay to leave, and when he didn't, showed up himself, rather than it having been a warning from Alex, or Alex using The Operator as a weapon against them.

[ADD] I would just like to clarify, I'm not suggesting The Operator picked up the phone and actually called Jay, but somehow communicated with Alex's voice via Jay's phone - we've already seen he can do strange things with cameras, I don't think it's too far-fetched to infer that he can do things with phones as well.

Quite long winded, and somewhat of a long shot, but something I wanted to throw out there.

ModNote (Zarggg): This post and its replies were originally posted as a separate thread.

Alex=Operator. not sure if want.
Or do you mean Alex<operator? in which Alex is only a tool?

But I like that better.

So, what, he ate Alex & now he can use his voice?
