You guys are all way over thinking this. Tim lives in Rosswood Park town. He grew up in Rosswood Park town. The college is nearby his house, ergo, it is in Rosswood Park town. In Entry #43, it is also revealed that Amy and Jessica's house was in Rosswood Park town, which makes sense because Amy was going to college there.

When Alex says one of the actors on the film grew up where Amy's going to college, he means Tim. Was Tim one of the smaller parts? As far as we can tell Brian and Sarah were the main characters and Tim had some other part, so yes he's one of the smaller parts, especially when you consider that they were the only 3 actors on the whole movie.

The trailer isn't evidence because it is non-canon silliness, albeit non-canon silliness with a very vague connection to Entry #54. I'd like to once again mention, if Tim isn't the smaller part, who is? There are seemingly no other characters in the whole movie, besides Brian and Sarah who are more important.

In conclusion, guy who grew up where Amy goes to college is Tim. It's a weird coincidence born from their decision to make Tim's childhood take place around Rosswood Park. One can actually map the fact that Tim waking up in his home town was coincidental, and that it's because Masky was following Jay when Jay found Alex there, at which point Masky began trying to murder Alex.

You know something that's been bothering me? The fact that I haven't seen or heard any evidence that either Jay or Tim have even tried to work out who "the guy in the hoodie" is. They should; his identity would give a possible motive for his actions. And that would go a long way towards deciding if they could or should trust him.

They also don't talking about the weird guy in the suit. Seriously, what's up with him? Is he late for some sort of business meeting or something?

Hey I was thinking about the Ark a bit the other night, as I've been playing FFXIII a lot lately (Please don't shun me for it) and the Ark on there is bad and it unleashes all the monsters into the world. Anyway, I was thinking maybe the Ark on Marble Hornets is the darkworld or whatever people are calling it these days, but instead of it being a safe place for people to go and be safe from The Operator's influence/control/etc and it unleashes Hell on Earth and eternal darkness and all that jazz. So maybe Hoody is/was actually trying to unleash the eternal darkness/hell/etc. Rather than trying to beat it?

Hoody has one of the strangest motives. At first he helps, and then later he acts like a douche and blames others for it by saying, "your fault." Yet he runs away when The Operator appears and needs pills which makes me believe he isn't on his side. Alex doesn't need pills (from what he know so far) and seems to be siding with The Operator.

BTW: Let's just hope no one turns into a l'Cie and a british girl talks to Tim about how if he doesn't do what Hoody says he'll become a Pulse l'Cie.

They are meant to sound Australian rather than English, I think, as Vanille is voiced by an Australian but Fang isn't but tries to sound Australian. But yeah, the point was that the Ark is bad not good.

Bad in terms of its entirety, or bad because evil people make it bad?

Bad as in if it's opened it will release Hell on Earth or something along those lines. Eldritch horrors on Earth.

I'm sorry about this, but I just re-watched #36, and now I'm wondering: is the parking lot Alex and Jay have their little talk in the Rosswood parking lot!?

Yes. Terrible meeting place. Who knows why. We don't even really know what happened after #35, not properly at least. The footage is corrupted.

Not gonna lie I kinda miss seeing Alex. The one time he finally gets a shot off and he's just up and leaves.
