I'm not entirely sure that the shot of Jay during Reminder is film of him recording Entry 53. It definitely looks like it at first glance, but I noticed something in rewatching 53.

Jay stands at the first window for a long time, then walks past it, pauses at the second window, and then moves on.

In Reminder, Jay stands at the first window, and he looks into the second window, but he doesn't seem to pause there at all.

This could mean that the video in Reminder was taken at a different time, and the consequences of this are likely insignificant (although it would mean that the figure in the reflection wasn't recording Jay).

Ok. I took this screen cap after going back through the video frame by frame. This is the frame that looks the best and shows the clearing behind the building. You can also see the slope of the roof in this shot, which matches the slope of the roof on the building in Reminder.

I may take more screenshots later. But I'm tired and I've had to battle my aging router all night. :/

The shot of Jay in Reminder is skippy though. Frames have obviously been removed.

I think we really need to consider both parts of this video equally to try and understand this video a little better.

For some reason, I've rather decided that who the video is directed at could determine whether this building is the same as 52. If it's directed at Tim, then it could very well be the same building, hinting that the Timnesia is real and he doesn't remember anything about saving Jay and Jessica from Alex. It wouldn't make sense for it to be the same building and be directed at Jay, because that would imply there's another player being brought into the game.

If the video is, in fact, directed at Jay, then to me it would make more sense if the building were a different one, one that Jay doesn't remember and likely won't remember until after he sees the Timmy Tapes, meaning it could be a secret Tim is keeping. I'm likely entirely wrong about all of this and it turns out the building has no significance and the person Jay doesn't remember is Grandmother Antique Shop. I will live with that.

So I took a ten minute smoke-break today and while I was away from my desk I checked Jay's Twitter from my phone. I'm a little bothered by Tim not calling Jay yet, mostly because he was so quick to call Jay about the tapes he found, then we get a response from TTA and then a Tweet from Jay saying he hasn't heard anything from Tim. These tapes are looking like either a trap or like the Timmy Tapes brought the Masky back. Maybe whoever uploaded the TTA video pushed Tim into watching the tapes to bring back the "alter-ego" and "Reminder" was a word of warning?

I may be thinking about it too hard, but since Jay went to The Store a lot, is it possible the recordings are from two separate "investigations"?

it's possible but who really cares? it doesn't affect the plot of the story at all, why are people still questioning such miniscule details
