Tron Swag Collections
Someone had said there should be a topic for showing off your Tron Collections. So here you go.

Someone brought up the idea of having a thread to show off swag collections. So here you go. Start your postings.
I will post my collection up soon, I need to photograph it. Shocked

Ok, I'll go first...

Alright, to preface my collection, a few thoughts:

Most of my swag has been pulled together by hard work beating games and solving puzzles, crazed and fervent trading and, in some cases, the kindness and generosity of other board members here at uF. To theBruce, SocalSteve, Madopal, Greystone, Rogi Ocnorb, Blink and Shad0...thanks, I couldn't have done it without all of you and you rock. Furthermore, thanks 42E for giving this geek so much free Tron goodness, I promise I will make up for it on opening night!

For a guy in Georgia, I don't think I've done too bad. Here's my haul:

*For the record, that's an original Flynn's Arcade Token from 2009 on the right with my No Bit (Yes, I'm one of the few lucky enough to get a Zero Hour Bit in the mail!)...I was actually fortunate enough to score one of the original run that were given out the year before the 2010 Blue coin set in an awesome trade! Very Happy

My only bit of bad luck was during Zero Hour...Atlanta traffic cost me the wallet as I showed up 5 minutes behind the lucky person who nabbed the drop.

Question, what are those things you have your tokens in?

They are cardboard coin cases that are commonly used to protect coins...You can buy them at any coin shop for fairly cheap, I think they were around 10 cents apiece. I had to buy the case for a half-dollar sized coin as a quarter case was too small.

You should definitely not limited to the sequel.

The easiest way to be sure you don't cause forum stretching issues is to attach your image to your post. When creating a reply to the thread under Options at left is the link to "Add an Attachment". This will provide a thumbnail which is clickable for full size viewing.

If you feel you'd rather not attach an image, you can use some post coding to keep the image within a 1024x768 display area.

If you resize the image before embedding, make the image 720 pixels wide or less. This allows for the left frame with the user info and avatar without invoking a horizontal scrollbar in a maximized browser window @ 1024x768. If you feel that too much detail is lost, you could provide a smaller thumbnail with a link to the full sized image. Most photo and image hosting services offer this capability. If you are hosting the image from a source that doesn't support thumbnails, and are not up to creating them manually, read on.

To embed an image resized to fit properly, use the following as your code template:
Code:
<img width="720" src="http://url.ext">
[url=http://url.ext]Click here for full size[/url]

Replace the URL dummy link with the URL of your image. This works with modern browsers, but may not work properly with older browsers. If you wish to avoid issues, you can define the image height, but you will need to calculate the proper proportional height before adding it after the image tag:
Code:
height="#"

(Where # is the calculated proportional height.)

I'll have to dig everything out to snap a picture, but for now, a list will have to do. Not counting duplicates:

- Space Paranoids pin
- 89 pin
- 89 stickers
- Tron Guard pin
- Face Off pin
- Punch Out! pin
- Flynn Lives poster, 2 of 3
- Flynn Lives poster, 3 of 3
- Flynn Lives shirt, M (WonderCon 2010)
- Operation: TRON event code/sticker
- Personalized Encom I.D. badge
- Flynn's Arcade token (SDCC 2009)
- Encom game postcards (full set of 7)

Most of the stuff I'm missing is from SDCC 2010. The things I'm missing that I want are the Tron drop-point wallet, the SDCC 2010 coin set/purse, the Lightcycle pin (hopefully getting one soon), the Arcade Aid poster (crossing my fingers), the ElecTRONica Night token (only 3000, so that'll be fun to try and track down), and the Zero Hour bits. I could care less about the EOLC poster/coasters.

The wallet is gold to me, I have been looking for it forever and not even a drop of it to be found.
