ARGN puzzle pieces

I might be late, but i didn't see any refs to this in the forums...
Anybody else notice that puzzle piece on ARGN.com's home page (9.bmp)

Have there been others?

Yup, I found one on Jadedmedia, Stage 1.

http://www.jadedmedia.net/start/stage1portal/index.html

(you'll need a login to see it)

5.bmp

I asked about it in IRC, and was told not to worry about it.

But I never got an answer as to what they even were. Just "don't worry about it"

I found the mart puzzle piece awhile back one night. Not much happened with that, there was a little chatter about it!

Well I don't have the foggiest what they are for...but the one at Martha's prompts to download...so it's got to be for something no?
Maybe it's an alternate route for the "North Wing" thingy for Argfest?

Hmmmmmm....

The Martha's piece (which is hidden after a second flash) will open up a paint program. I think you can insert the other puzzle pieces in this program (this is piece #8 ) and maybe a picture will appear.

If there are at least 9 pieces, then there are a few more to be found.

Hmmmm...wonder if there are any at mirlandano's server?

It opens up my Adobe PhotoDeluxe...which I tried manipulating them in...but only have one experience working with layers. Would Paint work better?

Might be a 3X3...(haven't looked to ascertain if it's possible)
Edit*** Nope...at least I don't think so, there has to be more than 3 still out there .

Puzzle size

If the pieces go together into an image with straight edges, I think it would have to be at least 4x6. We have four interior pieces so far, and it looks like none of them fit together. This means at least a 2x4 interior space, add an outside layer and you get 4x6.

Another thing are the shapes of the pieces. Notice that four out of the five have sharp points with slightly concave sides. None of then seem to have the negitive of this. So either these aren't a representitive sample, or the pieces don't go together. This leads me to think that, if anything, they fit into holes in a picture.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
scroll the menu down (me random etc.)

And this one brings the minimum up to 12...

I can't find any on deaddrop.us, hard to believe there wouldn't be one there too... keep on the lookout

the one on guysguise http://www.guysguise.com/ is in the top frame.

Or, you can view the home page, put your cursor in the top frame (right above the "me random ARG blog email home " section, and then drag the cursor DOWN the page. It's a simple, albeit ugly, way to scroll down the frame.

Darn, I was all over the guysguise site(s) last night in search of any pieces. I was so disappointed when I couldn't find it. Good job!!

I also think that there should be one at deadrop, maybe it's just more hidden.
