Well, here's my opinion, there is a difference between time spent on character development, and time wasting. In most series I see now, there is no plot for about ten entries, then some little paranormal thing happens, and then back to no plot, and repeat for awhile. I would argue that we know, and care more for characters that we see in the face of a problem, rather then just filming random things he/she and her friends do. We see how they approach problems, how intelligent they are, how much they care about others involved, ext. Plus, it keeps us entertained. Sure it may take more skill to keep us invested in characters, but if done right, it makes the series seem less like a web series, and more like a film, which should be every creators goal.

Edit: And Slendy can be introduced later on, but have a plot and something to keep us involved. DarkHarvest did this best, they kept us into the plot, and gave us characters that seem like real people, but took time.

I'd like to see more 'Hiking Fiend' style approaches to portraying Slender Man. I think that a lot of blogs and vlogs have lost sight of the fact that if they don't have Slendy do anything then they can't expect us to be afraid of him. Also, way less mary sue type characters.

I am going to be starting a Slender Podcast soon, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how I should do it or what I should do with it.

As far as what kind of equipment to use I haven't the faintest idea but content-wise I think it would be pretty cool if you reviewed different blogs and vlogs and whatnot. You should make a thread about it once you get it going.
