You know what I'd like to see in a Slender series? I'd like to see someone take the mythos back to its roots. Back to Slenderman being akin to the Moth Man, where he acts like a herald for tragic events - primarily involving children and fires. It's been gradually inching closer and closer to Blair Witch territory, where everything is creeping dread surrounding dumb highschool/college kids, building up to nothing (or to off-screen deaths).

Obviously, since most of these are created by highschool/college kids, it makes sense that that's the common storyline. But I think it's worth pushing one's limits. If nobody tries to break the mold...well, it'll get moldy.

I think an IG skype where your character can be reachable pretty much whenever would be pretty awesome, personally :3

Man, I didn't think this would be such a popular idea. I was actually thinking of using Skype for when guests appear on the show.

But remember everyone, don't give me all the credit for the idea, 12th came up with it first, and as such, I am giving creative credit to him.

All I'm doing is implementing it. Cool

Suggestions for as to who my character should interview are welcome, as well. I was going to try to see if I could get Jay on the show, seeing as no one has crossed-over with MH yet, and it could be a chance for my character to ask the questions many people have wanted to ask IG.

But I may be shooting too high with MH, so suggestions are welcome. Another series I was thinking of was Dark Harvest, because it's one of my favourites, and they seem like guys who wouldn't mind doing a crossover.

DON'T FORGET MY TOTALLY RAD SERIES! But you should also think about how interviewing certain series together would work out. Some series clash with others. I think it would be important to take into account the major plot points presented and to be presented in the series before interviewing.

I am extremely sorry, but I've actually not got around to watching your series yet, man. I will soon though, I promise. And I would love to have you be interviewed in my series.

Could you explain the clashing and the multiple-series interviews further, however?

Like for example, what kind of plot points would clash?

And what series do you think would work well being interviewed together? I can assume that series' that have already done a crossover would work, but as for other combinations, it would either be plot points clashing, or sheer luck on their chances of working well together.

Well I'll give you an example from my series. What has been revealed right now is that slenderman appears because of the rods of PAIN that have been laid out. Now I may not keep up with all the series, but I know for a fact that not a single one of them has mentioned how slenderman gets into our dimension, let alone through the rods of PAIN. It would ultimately ruin immersion to point such a thing out.

So basically, I would have to be very careful as to who I interview, based on not only the series I'm crossing over with, but mine as well. I would have to make sure that the plot points in one series would be acceptable in mine, and others, as well. I would have to limit myself, which is both a good and a bad thing.

I'm not sure now though about crossing over my series with yours, because I was going to have Slendy be the mysteriously existent being that he normally is, because I have always liked and accepted it as the norm. Could you PM me, for the sake of this thread, so that we can talk about your series? Perhaps you could explain things further to me. I would like to crossover with you, I just want to know more.

And that's understandable.

Now, as for everyone else: Any suggestions as to how else my podcast should go?

By the way, you all can send me suggestions as PMs as to how the blogpage for the podcast should look, because I want it to be pleasing to the eyes. Just keep in mind that it is supposed to be dark and ghoulish looking. The blog page is linked in my signature.

And also, I have made a tvtropes page for it as well. It is VERY basic right now as the series is still in the making(working on it as I type), and as such, will be expanded once it begins to come out.

Tvtropes page: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheSombreSepulchre

Suggestions as to how the audio distortion should be done are welcome as well.

Just try to send all suggestions as PMs, so the thread does not get too off topic.

I figured this would be the best place to ask it. How early is too early and how long is too long to get Slendy related things started up in the beginning of a series? I don't want to have distortion in the very first video like some people tend to do, and then in the second mention "Oh hey there was this guy following me outside BUT I'M SURE IT'S NOTHING."

I don't want to get into it that early but at the same time I don't want to start it up long into it.

This is the only thing that is leaving me stumped on what to do. I know where I want to go with everything, I just don't know when to begin it all.

It honestly depends on your storyline.
