I realized something I'd also like to see are people with super powers like in the game inFamous. Call me weird, but I'd like to see a series which is less horror and more sci fi action.
Also, more shootouts. Dark Harvest pulled it off spectacularly in their latest video, but it just doesn't happen that much. Of course, we wouldn't want it to happen too much.

Erm.. That's what both of my series' aspired to be. Sadly I'm bad at doing series >>

Interesting Confession

So, I found this idea on the Slenderman Confessions on Tumblr.:

I really like this Runes idea.

I had a blog I was doing for a bit with a LOT of fair folk doublespeak/Futhark and Ogham as codes stuff, but no one actually read it at all so I gave up. :/ So, there's that. I might restart it at some point if enough people read it this time around...

I want to see a series created about Victor Surge, about how he created the monster, and now it's coming for him.

That's actually a great idea. He'd be on the run from the Slender Man, and the government, who'd want to find out how he did it. Of course, I don't think anyone will ever take this idea any further.

Series idea #2: A teenager creates a YouTube account after watching Marble Hornets and some documentaries about the Slenderman. He thinks he's real. Nothing happens for all of his videos, no distortion, no sightings, nothing. You slowly notice the character going to the point of insanity, and on the last video, when the character is now 100% bananas, towards the end, Slenderman is seen standing behind the main character, and he teleports him.

THE END

That's not too bad, either. Except now that we know the plot, it'll be a bit less "fun."

I'm just throwing ideas, they can be altered in any way.

I saw a couple pages back someone mentioned the similarity of the Operator Symbol with the Zodiac Killer's symbol. That's one connection I wonder how it's never been done in a series before. I actually had the idea some time ago and thought it'd be interesting, but there was no way to fit it into my story that would make sense.

There was one awesome (but quickly-dying... -sigh-) blog about a serial killer who had some sort of 'contract' with Slendy, but the true nature of hows and why weren't really discussed...
EDIT: Found the blog:
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=36064

Could be something like that, but I don't see how The Zodiac Killer would need a revival, the copycats are long dead and even MDT didn't use Zodiac in the modern sense,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
but used him as a teacher figure for the rest of the cult...
I don't see why The Zodiac would become suddenly active now, or would suddenly have a copycat. That's just my 2c though. Also there are hundreds of other SKs with MOs that might fit what Slendy would look for in a possible proxy, moreso than dear ol' Zodiac...

Also, it's not SMM-related exactly, though it could be: I'd love to see an ARG or SMMv/blog based on either Burke and Hare or Mister X. For Burke and Hare, maybe two proxies who provide bodies for SM to experiment with or something.

And for X, Maybe Slendy/a proxy as Mister X and it's a guardkeeper's slow decent into insanity as he learns about the prisioner's past/purpose for being there or something, through with drawings/cryptic noises coming from the cell that have to be decoded, rather than actual speech, to keep the atmosphere...

I guess what I want to a Slender series make better use of the fact that it's fiction. I think the best way to explain/demonstrate this is including more tropes that transcend their practical functions of manipulating the narrative/plot and operate on a literary or metatextual level.
I should first clarify what I mean by a trope's practical function. Let's first look at foreshadowing. Remember how in TribeTwelve's "The Device" we heard a knocking coming from inside the closet, and it turned out to be Noah himself? This is an example of practical foreshadowing, wherein events in the plot directly foreshadow future events in the plot because the future events are a direct result of the present events. Cause, effect; Event A, Event B.
If I could use my own series as an example, compare this with the use of Radiohead's "Lotus Flower" in Strange Aeons. This is kind of a poor example because what the song foreshadows hasn't happened yet in the series, but it still works on principle. The lyrics of the song work as a metaphor for future events within the plot, foreshadowing the future events. This is not an example of practical foreshadowing because nothing about the song (the fact that it's being played, the lyrics themselves) directly cause the events that follow. Instead, this is an example of metatextual foreshadowing because the foreshadowing only operates on a metaphorical level, something only the viewer could pick up on.
This kind of foreshadowing is only one of the many metatextual elements I'd like to see introduced in Slenderseries. You could introduce actual themes, create an entire vocabulary of callbacks (Homestuck is great at this), etc. Just have fun with it!

So, with all the talk of cross-overs that has been going on lately, I've come up with something that might actually attract viewers!:

Have someone die in a cross-over. Not just hurt, but die. Either have their series end, or have someone else take over. But have them die, preferably by the Slender Man. And have something happen to the other series as well. Instead of making every cross-over something that can be skipped, instead, make cross-overs a big plot event. Make cross-overs some of your best videos, instead of videos that people don't want to watch.

Yep, that's just about it. Though, more blogs, I would say. Not hybrids, but just blogs. I've said this in another thread, but I just cannot seem to find any blogs, and no interactive ones...

That sounds great!

I also thought of this idea. Slendy seems to touch on the subject of European influence and history (ie. DarkHarvest Order, Tribetwelve's Deadhead).

I find a lot of potential in some of the more Oriental demons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nopperab%C5%8D).

If only there was some kind of way to connect with the East...without any anime-esque factors to it.

There's always been ways to connect to the East without anime factors, what the hell lol. The spiritual side of the East I feel is a lot STRONGER Than its European counterpart to be fair. They have their fair share of ghosts, spirits, and legends.

Slendy in a kimono guys. and A Straw hat.

Even Grudge girls are rooted in that ancient tradition.
