 		Maybe rude isn't the right word. More like disinterested? It seems to me he just wants to get things done without actually listening to Jay.

 		I don't believe anyone has mentioned the slight rumbling at 4:58 and 5:15...almost sounds like it could be pounding on large metal pipes (or maybe thunder).

Well, to be fair, it is during a storm. Same reason the lights went out, and it adds one helluva creepy atmosphere.

 		That discover I made about Alex at the end has to have significance. Think about it, they write the dialogue for the scenes, it's not really improv. For tim to say "stop looking so dramatic" is supposed to clue us in that something bad is about to happen, and that Alex knows it.

Slendy doesn't appear until Alex turns that note up on his piano and harmonizes it. I still think more people should be shitting themselves over this but I guess not.

Also if we're going based on the whole "the operator is tied to alex's camera" theory, then it fits in here too. He leaves his camera with Tim to ensure that slendy will be waiting for him when he gets there. I still think this theory is a little far fetched and would be a dumb resolve and hard to explain nonetheless, but it does fit.

I think what bothered me the most about this one was how "normal" Alex seemed before the Slendyattack. He wasn't almost psychotically nonchalant like he was when he led Brian out to become a snack go location scouting that ended up with Brian getting KO'd. He wasn't short and snappy like he was when he lured Jessica and Jay out to that building in the woods to shoot them. He wasn't screaming confusing things like he was when he beat poor Bruce's head in.

Assuming that was a moment of "ALEX WAS PHONE", it's the most terrifying yet, because that means there was no bloody way to tell when he was working for TO and when he wasn't. Because that means he can pass things off for normal well enough.

Well, given the history that Jay has with Tim (sometimes attacked by him, sometimes rescued by him) and the fact that Tim apparently doesn't remember any of this, I think it would be hard for Jay to act normal around him.

 		Timeline-wise this must be one of our earliest entries yet. Yeah, there are some Op appearances, but everyone's acting really smoothly and he's not getting noticed (except MAYBE at the end?)

Someone mentioned the possibility that Tim was getting Slenderstalked before Alex, which is pretty damn likely. In #20 Alex doesn't have a smidge of weirdness in his behavior and meanwhile Tim is irritable and taking those pills of his.

Also suggested was that Alex choreographed this, which - nah, I don't buy it. I really think Alex is as much a victim as Jay and Tim, he just handled it in a much more aggressive manner or was under direct control of the Operator. And pretty much any entry in which he's acting like a dick (or worse) is probably on the tail end of the '06 timeline.

One more thing. The fact that we're going way back to the beginning again makes me realize there are likely gonna be more entries where the Operator is just chillin in the background. And that's just wonderful.

Oddly, I was actually thinking this when the scene originally came up. Like it was more of the entry 10 footage or something.

In any case, lots of echoes here. "the Movie man" line, the silos, the Corner Operator, I even feel a bit of Brian's house explorations here in this entry.

Particularly with the Silos. If I was going to film critic-y, I'd say that very shot was symbolic of what this season is going to be: a dark reflection of Jay's original investigation. In Season one he was looking for Alex possibly to help him. In Season three, he's hunting Alex. He's going to see familiar events and places in a stranger, most sinister light.

Also, for the person who noticed the "echo", I think that was just Tim repeating his own "ow" a few times. Tim was also doing something that no one else has done in the entries, talk or hum or mutter to himself while walking around in the dark (I do it all the time myself). I'm not saying that last part because it's plot important, it's just (personally) a more naturalistic example of what people do. Nice acting bit for Tim.

Or maybe instead of Tim getting stalked first Alex was stalked as a kid, somehow overcame it and repressed (or was wiped of) his memories of the incident and Tim caused it to revisit him, sort of like the camera in #26. Going back on my previous point, but it's worth mentioning and not beyond the realm of possibility.

I'm always kind of torn between these two theories. Although it's clear from the video that the Operator was an added effect, I think it would be cool to find out Alex has been followed since childhood and the video was simply hinting at that. It would make it that much freakier.

The series itself seems to have a lot to do with tainted innocence. All the guys were friends and happy before the operator came, Jay becomes more of an angry character. I feel videos like indicator (a baby doll crawling around, tainted by the "operator") and entry 37 are symbolic of that.
