It was more of a waddle that looked kind of... ridiculous.

On-topic: I'm starting to think Tim might know what's going on, and he's just biding his time while trying to plan out a course of action. His behavior in the first part seemed more on par with a guy who doesn't quite know how thing's are going to go, so he gave the tapes and reluctantly signed on to the project while half-heartily trying to egg Jay out of it. That's just how he came across I guess.

Personally, I thought the leg-shadow was a tentacle. But maybe that's just from having watched some TribeTwelve a good long while ago.

I'm glad they're making Slenderman more threatening than a well-dressed lamp now (by making him more active). It was a bad sign to me when, in search of a source of scares, EverymanHybrid had to turn to their "HABIT" and "rake" characters, since Slendy is so....stiff.

My theory was that Slendy had nothing to do with the power cutting. It WAS raining pretty heavily... maybe it was a storm? And Slendy just y'know, was THERE. The lights going out was just something that played in his "favor" (in quotes, of course, 'cause we still never have any real idea what the f**k he's up to at any given time. Other than singlehandedly (singletentacledly?) causing the stocks of underwear companies to go through the roof.)

^Yeah, I agree with The Reverend. The Operator has never cut the power before (that we know of) and it's too late in the game series to be raising new questions. The storm "played in its favor".

Rain. Could the rain play an important part in the mythology of this whole thing?

It also rained in Entry #31 (Jay meets Trail Guy) and Entry #43 (Jay and Alex visit Amy's house). Maybe some others. Dunno if rain means anything, but there might be reoccuring patterns that I'm too lazy to look for.

the operator has never made an appearance in any entry where it has rained. There has also been several totheark videos with rain.

More like "has never made an appearance outdoors where it has rained", cause, welp, during this entry it was raining, but he appeared inside Tim's house.

I wonder why he "appeared" to Tim? I thought Slendy was after Alex.

He had a very prominent appearance, outdoors, in Entry #43. Not while it was raining, but shortly afterwards. Also, Entry #29 (that really mysterious, yet-to-be-explained one) had puddles in it.

Then again, this is the South, and it probably rains a ton there.

Perhaps it was because he was too inexperienced with the camera, but I wonder why Tim didn't turn on night vision when the power went out.

Also, in regards to the last couple seconds--anyone else reminded of the long-legged, fast-moving alien creature from the early "Aeon Flux" episode titled "Leisure"?

Now we know what kind of business man Slendy is.

Ok. The first time I watched this I thought "meh"

But as I watched it again, and paid attention to the dialogue, I enjoyed it. I also dug the rain and lightning.

It starts with Tim Jay and Seth. They said Alex was soaked and went home to change. Alex took his own car home, and didn't ride home with Seth, Tim, and Jay. Seth asks Jay if the tapes were in Alex's car, and Jay says yeas. Im starting to think that Seth was an editor of the film, because Jay says "if you don't want to wait for him you better get going."

The next scene has Tim Alex and Brian. Tim and Brian might have been roomates. Why would he be using Tim's towel to rub his hair? "Another keyboard, complete with beats."

Then Tim goes to the breaker room. He should have seen The Operator right there, the camera hovered over him for a little too long. Nice easter egg to get to see the living room left as is of the actors.

So I thought alright fine after this everyone remains normal and The Operator comes.

But then I noticed.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The note Alex plays at the end while Tim is telling him to not look so dramatic

And how he makes it louder and how he plays the same octave with his other hand just as the distortion starts.

Could be, and is probably, just Joseph being comedic. Could also be a dead giveaway that Alex coreographed this.

Egads, you've solved it. The entire series' existence revolves around an otherworldly salesgent trying viral marketing to sell underpants. By scaring the crap outta everybody.

Are my eyes playing tricks, or does anyone else see something moving behind Jay when they're on the porch or whatever?

There's a bike handlebar, and it looks like the porch area is used for storage. Between those, the slats, and the rain, it looks like scary shadows galore but nothing actually there.

Here's another thought: if Hoody is a member of the MH cast, then should it become apparent in these videos, sort of like how it began to become obvious that Masky = Tim?

Probably why they "brought back" Seth and Brian. One's a deliberate false lead

Or y'know, it ends up being Rocky.

^This.

As echoed by most others, I really enjoyed this entry. The sense of dread after the power went off, just waiting for something to happen...Wonderful.

This season already has a very solid start. Can't wait for it to continue.

I thought this new one was kinda cool for the reasons already given, and also because they're going back, and explaining what happened in 2006. I mean, that's where the scary is. It's when everything changed. It reminds me of the paranormal activity sequels, where they go further back in time with each one.

Also, anyone else notice that Tim had to grow back his mutton chops? There's a definite hair line. Since all of these "old tapes" are actually new, it's going to be interesting seeing if they can keep up 2006 appearances.

With a low-budget production like this, I kinda wonder if the reason we see character X instead of character Y is the actor for character Y has a real job.
