PM tracking Unfiction forum?

I found a __utm.gif in some of the webpage code. I thought the .gif meant there was an image on the page. The page was white with nothing I could see as an image. Turns out after a google search that __utm.gif is something used in html script to track details of who uses a website. the __utm.gif appears in a longer string of google analytics code. In the same bit of code it mentions unfiction forum. I guess this means the PM has set his site up to track Unfiction forum responses to it?

As I know nothing about html or google analytics, can anyone explain this?

Also, Ben seems to respond to some questions on the site but they are not really leading us anywhere. There have also not been any new cryptograms in his responses, so we could be asking the wrong questions.

I've asked every imaginable question, as I'm sure others have. The last response o' the day: "I've hurt my leg," was hilarious. If he is following us: Get out of there Ben! You're not a hero! Get out & get help! Wink

EPic... of all the questions I have asked, he answered the one about his leg. A bookcase fell on it!!!! LOL. That gives a strong lead.

It's crow's eye, or crosweye for crosweye university as our Ben puts it. I suspect it was originally a typo of crows eye university.

EDIT: OK, so I am no computer wiz, so I am not sure if I am missing something in this game BUT, I have tried using desteg software on my mac with some images and nothing, I have searched every inch of source code and nothing looks like it's encrypted, or ROTated etc. (re-read the ARG tutorial), I see no morse code, no ASCII, NADA!!!

I am not sure that we are missing anything. Maybe if someone can try destegging the images on a PC that might give us something?

I tried destegging all the images and found nothing. Also looked at them with a HEX editor - nothing.

New code in Ask.php

OK game on again. Ben posted an encrypted response to Gresh1234:
Q:WHy were you dizzy
A:

I have checked my Microsoft gallery on computer and cannot solve it. Anyone?

I have also asked 2 questions structured like Gresh's relating back to the clues in the source code. I figure his question got a response with a clue so let's see what happens.

In other forum we've decoded it and we think it says: "Philadelphia" (Maybe here is a connection with something forgotten?).

We're NOT sure if it really means Philadelphia (We've asked to Ben, but I don't know if he will answer). So do not get happy too soon.

Being able to delay the passing of time in the human body you should not surprise if they can revive dead people.

It's easy! What now? Zombies! Those motherfuckers can do whatever they want! They can put you a spider's leg on your eye, attach to your skull with common woods screw some coral painted brown, Everything!

But they can't kill a fucking man, who has his leg broken and is enclosed in a library, alone and in their University, before that motherfucker post something on his page about you and your research. Yep, they're amazing. You can't even know what will come with they.
