 		Rex Higgs has been posting images of a patent and notes he found for a electric-switch response timer or as he calls it the time switch.

In the last batch of images (http://enchantingandobsoletus.com/?p=689) - the back page has some handwritten notation. I posted a thought to Rex's blog

The notes on the back page remind me of notation for a hydrocarbon

In addition to that possible link to methane, the AIC people on Twitter and through their facebook profiles have been mentioning methane a bit (the smell, collecting data about methane and the fact the AIC has methane alarms that have gone off a few times in the last bit).

So, is methane important???????

Interesting about the wiki entry - Rex is working on a machine that has something to do with producing an image - not sure I understand everything presented in the wiki entry (or what Rex is working on Wink she is definitely interesting and part of the journey as she has been posting about this Jane Winthrop person and now Rex seems to have to made a connection some how with this Jane person...

Well it seems Rex Higgs has gotten his machine to work. http://enchantingandobsoletus.com/?p=706

He had to take it to Miracle Mile and possibly had to have it in proximity to the La Brea Tar Pits (maybe to provide a methane source?)

The spooky part is it seems this machine let him see, contact or whatever you might call it a woman, who looks very much like Jane Henrietta Winthrop (XiaWooLin found an autographed picture of who she thinks is Jane and posted it here - http://enchantingandobsoletus.com/?p=689#comment-166 - and Xia posted a movie poster with her image on it here - http://enchantingandobsoletus.com/?p=665#comment-161 (Dame of Desperation' and she is billed as the lead role along with Henry Malone)

These are great - is there a way others can add to them to help collect info? If we had a central place everyone could use - I have noticed with this one there is A LOT of info and characters.....

I am new to using Google docs, but I think I can set them to be able to be added-to / edited by anyone with the link. I'll try to get the docs set that way this afternoon. The only problem would be the vulnerability of someone deleting data that should be preserved. At this point I'm willing to trust.
