thoughts?

I didn't see this posted about. but mayhaps it's worth mentioning, even if it ends up not meaning anything.

It's even harder to see that The Operator (which is not in the shot)

Are you saying you see a mask somewhere in the circled area, or that the circled area is a mask itself? I don't see anything but trees.

That's an accurate summary of most operator sightings.

So guys, about ol' totheark using Jay for everything... Why is this?

Far be it from me to distract us from a good game of 'circle the shrub', but I want to pull this question back up in the thread. Because important.

Really though, why do TTA think Jay will lead them anywhere? Jay's idea of dectective work is to stare at an antique dealership for three months. Then to sit outside a mental health clinic for a week. With a camera.

Obviously we all love Jay for his derpiness, but it makes it really hard to see how he will lead anyone to "the ark". If Tim is capable of magically breaking into Jay's house/appartment/hotel, and TTA (if not Tim) can follow Jay without his knowledge, why are they so convinced he will lead them anywhere, to anything? TTA seems to know so much more than either Jay, or indeed any of us - whats stopping them looking for the ark on their own?

Come to think of it - has anyone ever directly asked Jay this? A quick tweet saying "do you know what these people think you will lead them to?" might produce some interesting results, you never know....

I do think that Jay has been running around as a Masky, or at least was under Slendy's mind control, but I don't think any of that was ever captured on film; as for losing his memory for seven months, I guess this is already clear to everybody, but just to voice my view on it, Slendy strategically wiped out that amount of time in that one minute when Jay tried to tackle him. So Jay wasn't being mind-futtzed the entire time.

Jay will just lie to us, if he does know. Remember that we cannot trust him.

Maybe I should do it. I check Twitter every day to follow his status, but he stopped posting after Decay. Grr. Even if he does lie to us, I would still like to hear what he has to say. Anything could mean everything and vise versa, at this point.

while you're at it, tell jay to video response to the next totheark video saying "tell me what i have to do, you are not helping. you want me to help you find something, then tell me what i am looking for or you will never find it the way you're acting"

I think it's because Jay is the only one that's not completely batshit as a result of all of this. It's hard on him, but not nearly as much as for Tim, Brian, Jessica, and Alex.

I still think it's because Jay is immune to the sickness. He has been taken by the operator at least once and let free (entry 23) but has not developed any signs of sickness outside of immediate sickness (coughing and passing out) - but he never coughs up blood or shows any sign of a dual personality in his recordings

How would that help him though? Whilst he might be in a (slightly) better mental state than either Alex or Tim, its not like he can go toe-to-toe with the Operator - we've seen him try and he paid for it with seven months of memories.

Unless somehow the ark (whatever the hell it is) is somehow impossible to locate for someone with slendysickness symptoms, I can't see this being a great advantage. The fact he's retained most of his health and personality makes him our narrator, but I doubt it empowers him much beyond that.

that was ultimately my point, that someone infected by the sickness can't find the ark for some reason.

He's been fucked with, though; remember the entry that he got up and went somewhere but didn't emerge on the other side of the door, and remembers nothing?
