So many things that I need to make into avatars. So few forums that will actually tolerate my presence, & vice versa.

Is that a response to something specific, or is that itself what you're raging at?

It's a response to Clairabel drawing a picture of herself with a stylish mustache for me.

I found it to be extremely classy myself.

well what i'm saying regarding entry release time is that they could have filmed this one night after they got off work... unless they have night jobs it can't be that hard to meet up after 9pm to do a few takes, or on weekends when there's no school. i work 30ish hours a week and go to school full time and i still see my friends all the time

two weeks isn't that crazy of a wait, i just have to question if the distortion is why it's taking so long. i totally see why they would want to spend the time on it though cause the distortion is really cool and probably does take a while to draw out, its not exactly like there are filters for some of the distortion screens they use

For this entry, if i was really busy, here's what I'd do. Have troy come, film the first few minutes (until alex closes the door on jay and picks up the camera again) in 1-2 shots, it'd be really hard to mess that up unless they had the giggles. then take 30 second film clip of troy sitting down looking up. i'd cut to black for a second and then have joseph film the rest of the entry with someone else pretending to be jay, since we never really see his face past that anyway and a hoody will cover up body image. troy would only have to stop by for 10 mins tops and then could work on the rest of the distortion and stuff from his home

i find that things like that can be done with a lot of the entries. i know it's not ideal, but it is a way to cut corners and get entries out faster without losing anything.

No offense to Clairabel, she knows I lurve her, but I find mustaches (no matter how classy) on dames to be damn weird.

I much prefer the classy gent Lithp is currently using as his avatar. Wink

I'm not sure how practical that actually is, but I will point out, Troy is the director. Just because they technically could do it without him doesn't mean he wouldn't want to be present. And they might just be too exhausted by night time after work/school. I don't know how difficult these relatively simple entries actually are to shoot, but I imagine they're probably not as easy as they might look.
Of course, that's coming from someone with very little knowledge of how this works, so if someone has a better understanding of the filming process from actual experience rather than assumption, please enlighten me.

I forget what class I picked, but I know it's the sniper and tech based one, IIRC.

ME1. I tried playing it once before but got bored, recently started playing it again with the intent of completing the series as I own all 3 games.

Agreed, I guess I didn't look at it that way.

The first Mass Effect is popular due to its story, not gameplay. The gameplay is revamped and much more enjoyable in the second installment, and the third gets it damn near perfect. As for dying, I find that soldier is the strongest starting class in the first game, the other classes eventually become a force to be reckoned with, but it takes several levels to get to that point. This is not true for the other two games, as every class has a unique ability. Tech/sniper, for instance, got cloaking in 2 and 3.
