we should really spend our free time decoding that totheark video with the code hidden inside of the front doorway of the house, it was way back in season 1 and nobody ever solved it

What one?

if you have to ask, you're not ready to solve it

Tomorrow I've got a important and long, long USA and British history and I think I'm going to die.

WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO LONG AND DIFFICULT?

I think I should say goodbye to all of you because there is no way my brain can survive a 3 hours (or more) long exam. Sad

And I am in rage because I'm going to die before a new Entry comes into scene.

Are you in High School or College? If you're an American and you're in college, just drop out now and save your money. Even the community colleges rip people off. It's totally pointless with the economy the way it is. A friend of mine graduated with a Masters in Engineering and he works for a construction company because no one wants to hire anyone.

I am in College, but I am Spaniard. Hopefully here studying is not a expensive as univesities are in the States. Anyway, I'm studing because I like the degree I'm doing and I like to learn, but sometimes studing is boring D:
(and here if you don't have a degree or a higher education the maximum you can aspire to work is at McDonald's, if you are lucky. Well, fuck, even if you have a degree and a Master).
Well, here no no one wants to hire anyone neither, but most of the Spanish youngs with studies are going to live to other European countries and so will be my future, I guess.

Oh, I know what I am writing is just a chaotic mess with a lot of typos and grammar mistakes, but my brain is under its normal levels right now, there is nothing I can do Sad *her brain melts completely*.

"dude a friend of mine couldn't get a job therefore college is a waste of time and money"

A friend of mine just got a doctorate in chemical engineering and is now making six figures, less than a year after graduating. Clearly this means that all college for everybody is 100% worth it and useful, because the experience of my one friend in one of many hundreds of possible majors and career paths is indicative of the entire college experience and what it has to offer in terms of employment.

Clearly.

Someone I know has never gone to college and now he lives with his parents and doesn't have a job, so you're wrong.

This person is also still a teenager in high school, but irrelevant.

Well, what is true is that the more you study and the more you know, the better it is for you. Maybe in your options to get a job, maybe just in your self building (can I say it in English? I don't know it is correct).

Plus a college degree pretty much always looks good on your resume.

Exactly. Even if we do live in an economy where "no one wants to hire anyone", they'll probably prefer the guy who does have the degree to the one who doesn't when they actually do hire someone. If you have a low chance of getting a good job with a degree, it's still probably going to be a worse chance if you don't have one.

Of course, again, this won't be true everywhere for every job field.

Fucking this.

If anybody ever tells you that college is always worth it or never worth it, ignore everything they have to say about the subject. Know what you want to do, and become an expert in that field. Know what they look for in potential hires. Know who hires and how you can get hired by them. If you know those things, then you, and nobody else, will know whether or not college is the right decision for you.

Having a degree will almost never hurt you, but there are so many more reasons to go to college. For my own field, it's not about the degree as much as the experience and connections gained by going through the program. For a physicist, however, it's going to be all about getting that doctorate at a graduate school and then getting a job in academia. It's always about your field, and only your field.

Nobody but you can determine if college is the right decision for you, and it always pisses me off when people act as if it is a must or as if it is always a waste of time.

RAGE at these fucking allergy-test patches, which itch like crazy, and at the fucking paper-tape I have to wear over them, which makes me look like a gahddamned mental patient, and the long sleeves I'm wearing to keep this crap covered up, because I really don't feel like explaining this to my coworkers and the customers, and jfkda;fjksd;afjkl;djfksd;fjsdk;jfsdk;fjas;fj RAGE. >:E

I know I'm joining the college discussion late, but I went back to school when I was 40, and even though I still work retail I wouldn't trade my time at college for anything. I really enjoyed the classes and learned so much about myself, and it gave me encouragement to work on my writing, so if you want to go to college, then do so. If you don't, that's okay too.

College is an extremely expensive way of trying to convince someone to give you money in exchange for services. In the long run, it's just buying a quarter for a dollar, because in the end, you're going to pay off a real college education until the day you die. Community colleges aren't real college, and even they're getting ridiculously expensive, so it's like buying a dime for ten bucks.
