Zargggman, just pin a topic entitled DON'T REPLY TO FAKE ENTRY THREADS and ban anyone who does it anyway. You'll either be silencing trolls or the illiterate, either way we all win.

There is one problem with that. The mods said that they can't ban people.

Someone really needs to ask the administrator(s?) to set better moderator policies then, because that's just stupid.

The admins should make a system where if someone posts a link to a video that is not formatted right it checks it and if is a troll video, the thread is deleted instantly

Let me preface this by saying that I know none of this is Zarggg's fault:

As I have alluded to before, you CANNOT expect that NOT ONE person is going to post in an entry thread. Sometimes, you have to work around what people are GOING TO do, rather than trying to make them do what they SHOULD.

"Ban them" does not make sense as a response because (A) you're liable to just piss people off & get half a dozen trolls where there was previously just 1 or 2 & (B) as long as we're talking hypotheticals here, the much simpler solution is to just abolish the "can't delete obvious troll threads if they have a post" rule.

So, yeah, I don't think it's a serious problem, but I would say that the proper way to address it is to talk to the admins about their policies. Be all, "Look, it's cool that you wanted to try something different, avoid the usual pitfalls of the system, but in this case, the method is widespread because it works."

You know, mention of Pravado in the Entry #72 thread made me realize just how much the Operator in the latest entry pissed me off. They had a good thing going. You had an uncomfortable feeling that it was going to corner them in the basement, & then it DID. Then they start the obligatory chase scene, but it was different this time, Jay got left behind & Tim had to go look for him. And when he finally found him, The Operator was RIGHT THERE...& then it just runs away after Tim makes fun of it, presumably crying like a child.

Yes, I am being hyperbolic. I don't care. That was such a wasted opportunity, & just...are they even trying? Short of killing it with a hug, or something, I can't come up with a way to make it look less threatening than that.

The only way they can salvage this is if it's paving the way for something really bad. Like Jay just got proxified, or the duo's Slendersymptoms become dramatically intensified.
