Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I assume it was originally two words can not but when he shortened it to can't he didn't delete all the extra letters. "It follows you wherever you go. It canot be seen but it can be heard."
My first thought was the wind, but that doesn't really follow you EVERYWHERE. The sound of your footsteps?
Now, the patients. Keeping in mind this is set in the Fear Mythos it's possible someone who cuts themselves "trying to let someone out" is a Nest. Proxiehunter is probably only going to be answering the riddles to immunize someone though.

Is it 100% certain that the " hapless orderly" will receive the same 2 patient files that the Jester chose for elimination?

I'd think exactly the opposite. Otherwise someone could immunize the patient that had just been voted for elimination.

Got a new post on Grace's blog.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
First clue: A Jail Cures Us
1-2-140
20 9 14 25 18 12 3 15 13 7 4 12 11 7 3 1
(There's supposed to be a 21 in there somewhere. and both 7's are circled)
Working with SixxAngel6 to see if we can crack the code.
Edit!
We got it. Credit goes to SixxAngel6 with my help (not much though, she totally did it.)
Edit 2:

Why hello there.
I followed the first game, never really played so this is my first ACTIVE ARG participation. Ashe has introduced me to the world of it and has me cracking things already apparently.

Got a hunch to follow here looking to see if it works out.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The shadylawn wordpress requires passwords to view files. Just pointing that out.
Uhm... A Jail Cures Us is an anagram for Julius Ceasar. So... downloading pdf now. I'm thinking 1-2-140 is like act 1 scene 2 line or word 140.
Will update with what comes of that!
Edit:
I keep counting wrong. The word I got didn't work as a password. And I keep screwing up while counting the lines. I mentioned the link to the book to Grace though.

Good work Ashe and SixxAngel6!
the lines are pre counted here: http://shakespeare-navigators.com/JC_Navigator/JC_1_2.html
1.2.140 The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.
Brutus and Caesar: what should be in that "Caesar"?
Why should that name be sounded more than yours?
Write them together, yours is as fair a name;
So... enter the patient names together some way?

Absolutely no idea... I tried different passwords all night. Nothing came of it. Thanks for finding the line though. Maybe someone else has another idea on the password(s) and or what Grace is specifically looking for?
Edit: Still don't have the correct answer on Jester's riddle. Anyone got any other ideas?
Edit #2: We have our first riddle from our Orderly. And apparently we don't get a choice of who to save. It's just one patient we're giving immunity, at least this time. Unless there's a trick. But isn't there always one?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Answer is smoke for anyone who feels like taking credit for it. I just don't feel like posting it. lol.
And for those of you who haven't done very much fear research I can tell you right now that you might want to. You should already be aware that we are playing with the wooden girl. And if the image on the Shady Lawn website of the stick and serpent is any indicator, we're dealing with the plague doctor too. Most of you already know this I'm figuring, but for the ones who didn't/don't I thought I'd share. I remember the candle cove reference in the last game was lost on me because I had no idea of anything in the fear mythos.

Maybe the password is related to "The Fault in our stars" that book Grace was reading a while back. That quote is where the author got the title.

Despite my using it in To Light a Candle Candle Cove is separate from the Fear Mythos. The current Plague Doctor involvement is Doctor Beakman himself, he's a servant of the Plague Doctor known as an Oathbreaker.

Must be the tie-in. the first chapter is online
http://books.usatoday.com/bookbuzz/post/2011-11-01/john-green-excerpt/560409/1
Now, is 1-2-140 used again?
Also did you post your "footsteps" answer on Jester's blog? From his clue of "tap tap tap" that sounds like it.

I'm playing through my blog character Proxiehunter. He has no interest in choosing a victim for Jester. I suppose Pirate Percy might have fewer problems but anyone who read the blog in my sig knows he's a little busy at the moment.

I'm well aware of who Doctor Beakman is and his involvement with the Plague Doctor. I read To Light A Candle from start to finish, and considering the Plague Doctor is my favorite fear, I've done my research. (To Light a Candle is a beautiful blog by the way. Your writing talent really shines. )
Candle Cove was used last game in a reference to Slenderman and the fear mythos too. And other blogs on fears have had references to it as well. While I am aware it is a separate thing I was just using it as an example for why new players might want to do their research into the Wooden Girl and the Plague Doctor. Because I hadn't done any research/reading into any of the blogs before I started playing last time, I didn't catch the reference they were making with candle cove. Just an example for why any newbies should do their research on our fears is all.

New post on Grace's blog .
A pictogram and another clue: A clearheaded figment, perform thy knot.
5-1-185
Another Julius Caesar quote? A different Shakespeare play? The fault in our stars?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The pictogram I think is swordfish and I appear to have been able to use that to unlock the file of Smith, Lee
"Condition: Paranoia and hypochondriasis.
History: Mr. Smith was admitted to the hospital in 2003 for a herniated disk. During his stay in the hospital, he became increasingly paranoid that he was being observed and that the doctors were administering various diseases to him. Subsequently, he was deemed mentally unfit and transferred to the psychiatric department and subsequently to Shady Lawn.
History: Mr. Smith was absolutely correct. The Oathbreakers at the hospital did administer various non-lethal diseases on Mr. Smith while he slept. Once he started figuring it out, they transferred him here so we could see what psychological ailments we can give him.
17 OWL?"
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Clear headed figment" could mean a lucid or a waking dream (given the circumstances nightmare would work too). "Perform thy knot" I have no clue about.
