Yeah, I read that, too. I already tried death.blogspot.com and findingdeath.blogspot.com, but that doesn't seem to be it. Let's see what she says.

Lady in reply to the first comment wrote:
And what does the young boy call Death when they ask him? Something about a thief?

The boy says "An unseen thief, called Death, came stalking by". EDIT: Lady now says 'unseen' isn't the charm after I already got weirded wading thru odd blogs. Laughing

And then Annaz wrote:

There's a hidden letter string in the first blog entry
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's "dan see camarb" that anagrams to "as dream can be"...and lotsa other things

New riddle @Pardenor's Tale. Also, believe stating twice in 24hrs. how bril LM is prolly won't give me an embolism Cool & used his anagram to open John Marchall's file.

Quote:
Condition: Stage six Alzheimer's disease.

History: Mr. Marshall's descent into madness was a slow, albeit excruciating one. He showed manyof the obvious symptoms of Alzheimer's such as minor lapses in memory, continuously losing personal objects and becoming socially withdrawn and moody in challenging situations without much danger to himself or his surroundings. However, after a particularly vicious outburst involving a frozen turkey and the belief that his daughter was an imposter sent from hell, he was admitted to our institution with little chance of release. Court date pending.

Beakman's Notes: John's lapse in sanity seemed forced and somewhat amusing. Possible experimentation in the future involving controlled visits from his friends and family probable, though dangerous. Daughter unlikely to participate.

Hmmm... I agree with amandel. Although http://faculty.washington.edu/smcohen/320/zeno1.htm seems to answer the riddle here:

In a race on land or sea or air,
it does not matter where
you go or how fast you run
you're always halfway there.

it does not readily supply a patient file password http://shadylawn.wordpress.com/patient-files/

zenosparadox
zeno'sparadox
zenosparadoxes

do not work.

is it just me or does the second comment somehow sound as if it was not written by annaz? *confused*

Xenos paradox seems to fit, though in my experience such riddles tend to have a rather simple answer... i would have guessed death (can't flee from it), a friend of mine suggested horizon, which i think fits even better, so i tried that as an answer.

Ahh... So we needed to combine Zeno's Parodox with our latest author Borges (I keep forgetting about that bit) to open Jessica Giddens' file.

argatha- it does contain death , very intuitive.

Quote:
Condition: Dermatillomania

History: Ms. Giddens has an impulse control disorder that causes her to repeatedly pick at her skin and pull it away. She claims this is due to "insects" that are living under her skin.

Beakman's Notes: Unfortunately, this is not a case of the Intrusion. No, Ms. Giddens genuinely does have a disorder. I wonder, however, if the disorder can be controlled by a few well placed insects?

Solution for the number/letter string just posted on The Pardoner's Blog. And that's just the beginning today, guys & gals
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's a hex string decoding to http://youtu.be/p_L_3o_fzS0

Accompanying text is the description of a perfect map from "Jorge Luis Borges' astonishing short story, 'On Exactitude in Science'". Google has Informative Links
Added text is "a machine of words" which also reflects Borges' writings. The Riddle posed is: "What window has four rooms?". Put a lil quess on the blog & it unlocks:

In the patient file of James Cox Dr. Beakman wrote:
Condition: Nothing

History: Mr. Cox has no condition that would bring him to Shady Lawn. He was chosen at random at a hospital and taken here. There is nothing wrong with him. He is completely sane.

Beakman's Notes: How long can a sane person be surrounded by insanity and stay sane? Let's find out.

Nice decoding, Booba! Hi argatha, Kevin B., the lonesome artist, was also Grace's alt personality. His FB page may come in handy in this riddle quest b/c:

The Pardoner just wrote:
You are correct. And now, find the next riddle.

...In that Empire, the Art of Cartography attained such Perfection that the map of a single Province occupied the entirety of a City, and the map of the Empire, the entirety of a Province. In time, those Unconscionable Maps no longer satisfied, and the Cartographers Guilds struck a Map of the Empire whose size was that of the Empire, and which coincided point for point with it. The following Generations, who were not so fond of the Study of Cartography as their Forebears had been, saw that that vast Map was Useless, and not without some Pitilessness was it, that they delivered it up to the Inclemencies of Sun and Winters. In the Deserts of the West, still today, there are Tattered Ruins of that Map, inhabited by Animals and Beggars; in all the Land there is no other Relic of the Disciplines of Geography.

Hi! Sourced that Youtube text in my long post above. Maybe the next riddle clue relates to both of Jester's freaky pals humming bits from 'The Jeffersons' theme? Am still hooked on Weird Fresno (Good reads by Amandel Shocked ) from our last wacky blog quest so am going at this lite after some nourishing chow. Cyas...
