Man, a new Marble Hornets and I found out there's a new Ring novel AND film coming out, all in the same night.

Something new with my two favorite horror characters within a span of hours... someone must like me.

Only on page seven of this thread, and no one has mentioned this, but at about 2:55, Tim is focusing on this bit of wall, and I can see writing, but can't make out a good portion of it. Could be just random writing on the wall, but I do see the word nurse at the top, and given how Troy edits these together, this is here for a reason.

So does this mean Alex got Seth killed that night, then brian the next day? If so that would explain why Brian say Tim coughing in the corner of the a room in the hospital.

Also I feel like Tim is just hiding his knowledge of everything from Jay, I mean it's not like you see Jay talking to Tim openly about the Operator or anything.

Not as good as it could have been, but still a solid entry. (This entry was rushed because part of the crew was also visiting relatives this week). The appearance by our tall friend was a bit unecessary IMO, but I guess it doesn't really matter. The big problem with this entry is (suprise suprise) Alex, with the rebar, on the third floor. Couldn't they have used something a little more... solid? Like you know... a rock?

Chalk it up to a happy accident, huh? Tim does mention the graffitti an awful lot, though.

I would like to know who's been painting and drawing all these Operator symbols. Surely Jay and the crew have not been the only victims/proxies of the operator.

Another thing I find a bit strange....
Why did Tim leave the camera on when walked off? (very Alex-ish behavior)
I still wouldn't think it odd that Tim indended Alex to be the victim here... "Hey Alex, look at all the graffitti..(operator symbol). Excuse me while I walk away and let the tall guy gobble you up..." After all, in entry 22 Seth looks as if he was taken without being hurt first. And, if this is supposed to be the same basement, it looks like there was already dried blood there, as if sacrifices have already occured.

So, are we assuming Alex isn't really filming? Or is it just one of the "junk" tapes Jay initially dismissed? Does it even matter? Probably not.

As for the alleged figure at 2.00 in the doorway, I do see something. It reminded me of Masky when Jay found him in the house, you know "shit, he's seen me. Run!"

I raised the same question in the "Is Jay a Derp?" thread, and the conclusion we came to is that when Alex and Jay first meet up early on, Alex tells Jay to lay low, and Jay, in a moment of genre-savvy intelligence, takes "lay low" to mean "Don't be posting tapes until this is all sorted out for now," so he doesn't.

7 months later, he gets slendered, and season 2, for us, begins.

It made sense for me, and answered that concern. Hope it helped you.
