I know I already mentioned this in one of my previous posts, but since there haven't been any responses, I want to reintroduce it because, not only is the discussion here about pipe vs. stick getting old, but I want to hear what other people think of this speculation:

Annex that was mentioned was Entry #51 building. Yes or no?

Probably, these are buildings nearby. (and there are many more abandoned buildings in the area ...)

In OOG, yeah, I don't doubt that. But to me it makes a hecka lot of sense if Entry #51 was annex. Although it's still confusing, because weakened Tim would have had to get there somehow.

Interesting column in the middle of the room of the attack. On one side, the chipped paint on the top, remember masky mask, even think what would be the eyes, have been deliberately obscured (no other dark spots in that column), and in the next side you can read "... watching" or something (there is more written above, but I can not make a clear screenshot)... Coincidence?

1.Tim said is was a long time between when he told Alex about the place and when they actually went there, so something happened that made the trio (Alex, Tim, Brian) cancel their plans on that Saturday to go to the building. That would explain why Brian forgot that Tim had been the one that suggetsed they go there and why he bought Alex's lie that he and Seth found it.

Dawww, I already said that!

2. I had a very strong suspiscion that the "annex" Alex asked about was the building from Entry #51, and that the place in this entry was not the place that Brian got attacked at in the aforesaid entry. It couldn't have been anyway, because the Entry #51 building was one story, whilst this one was several.

3. Tim really did not want to go over to the annex. He knew something about it, or had a history with it.

4. It seems obvious to me that the building that was in this entry was the building in Entry #22, especailly when a "basement" was mentioned in that entry, and Tim mentioned something about it. The interior look of the two seem similar, if my memory serves me correctly.

All pretty plausible, however remember that the basement of Doom was filmed in a location that doesn't exist anymore.

8. Tim was probably carried/dragged over to the annex and was left there until Alex brought Brian over the next day. Why? I don't know.

13. I can't help but wonder why Tim was found in the annex instead of where ever the Operator would have taken him to get slendyraped. I thought that maybe he had found some way to escape, but was too weak to go anywhere, so he took cover in the annex, the nearest shelter. The Operator might have also strategically put him there, but of course, I can't be sure.

14. There was some weird thunking/coughing going on at the end of the video. Wasn't sure what to make of that.

I think the thunking is the sound of Alex leaving and the couching that of Tim waking up again.

This. The Operator in this entry looked fantastic-they even went for the variable-length arms. I agree it should move more but it looks fantastically scary in this scene.

There were more abandoned buildings in that area ... the basement could be recorded on another that does not exist.

I don't think it was Tim waking up... I think it was Alex, having a similar reaction like he did in Entry 43. Alex sure did a lot of coughing then, while approaching the operator.

Upon rewatching it and listening carefully, it was easy to make out Alex opening a door, and exiting down the stairs. But when Tim started coughing, it sounded really weird. I guess it was audio distortion? My question is, why did the camera turn off (dead battery? Jay just ending the entry there because there was not much more to the tape?), and, of course, what happened with Tim afterwards.

Ok kids..

#1. I too thought that was a stick..I think the idea was more based on the fact he (alex) picked something up at random instead of bringing a weapon. IE his intention wasn't to hurt Tim at first-unlike the time he draws a gun on Jessica and Jay as he had that planned out. When slendy showed up he did his dirty work on Tim hence Slendy is directing his actions.

#2. Graffiti. Nice catch on the Operator grafftiti, but i'm sure the rest is just garbage. Phi Delta Theta is the greek lettering outside (National greek fraternity founded in 1848-nothing there).

#3. Operator looked fine to me.

Overall-not a bad episode, not terrible and not great.

Is anyone thinking that Tim's final tape is going to come directly after the events of 56?

I'm hoping the last of this batch of tapes shows us why Tim dons the mask, once and for all!

i'm confused as to why people think the operator "communicates" with alex. he can't talk, he just makes groany noises (seen by entries 43, 40, and 51). i just assume that he is living up to his name and "taking control" of alex, and it's fairly obvious when he does. alex gets quiet and when he talks he gets sort of impatient and angry (like in this entry)

I think so...I really want to how/why Tim retrieved his camera and got the tape despite being recently blitzed.

The Operator is not human, so who's to say he doesn't have other means of communication, since he doesn't speak? Maybe he can implant images or thoughts on Alex's mind.
Though I personally find the method to be irrelevant; whatever TO is doing is obvious he's controlling, or operating, mind you, Alex to do his bidding.

Jamocha101 wrote:
I think he thought he already killed Jay because he hallucinated, thinking Bruce was Jay in the tunnel. Possibly.

During the split second he heard Bruce speak before Alex turned around, it's possible he might have thought it was Jay, he being on edge and all, but I don't think he was that delusional. After all, as soon as he got out of the tunnel he called Jay and asked him to meet him tomorrow. Cue entry #52.

Me too, I mean, the best I can think of is that after Tim became Masky he picked it up and kept it... because the camera was totally still there after gawd knows how long. I really don't know.

What's the last tape gonna be, though? We've already seen what Alex did to Brian and Seth (probably), so is the last tape going to contain the first TTA video ever made?

Seems like the Operator didn't want to STICK around when he saw Tim's ROD hanging out.
