Ignoring the fact that I was being internet sarcastic, I thought we went over the possibility of there being more than one person in TTA? "Extraction" happened, you know.

i really think the jay tweeting about there being more than one person is a red herring, that's just me though. if we're going on the fact that TTA must be someone from the series we've seen already, and we know that TTA is kind of a cryptic dick for no real reason, it doesn't add up to me as to why multiple people would be acting like cryptic dicks who mock him, it strikes me as a one man operation who is sickened with jay's lack of progress.

and i mean, if they were old cast members, they used to be friends with jay. surely if it was more than one person than one of the people would want to help him and not just tease him?

Here's a thought. What if Tim really does remember everything? Maybe he's only waiting for Jay to stop bullshitting him about what he's doing before he opens up. Like, he's not willing to totally trust Jay until Jay starts being honest with him, but at the same time he's wants to help anyone who's anti-Slendy and anti-Alex. So just now he's all "here's some tapes I found" while he makes damn sure that at least one of the tapes might prod Jay into opening up and dealing with him straighforwardly.

Unless -- he's not sure how much Jay remembers, and is hoping something on the tapes will open up his memories.

Actually that's kind of funny. They're both trying to get the other to remember, but without revealing too much...it's rather farcical when you think of it that way.

No matter which way you look at it, if they wind up having The Talk (you know, The Talk about the eldritch horror and their murderous friend), it's going to be incredibly, hilariously awkward.

However, right now I'm still in the "Tim is genuinely mindwiped" camp. (Which, on that note, any explanation from Jay will probably be even more awkward.)

plus if he really wasn't aware of stuff he would notice a mask lying around his house, and would probably start taping himself like jay did to see what the fuck was goin on in his house
