Planning an ARG to run over about 5-10 weeks. (35 - 70 days)
It's gotta be free to run, and I need help to flesh it out.

Right. So. I suppose I should provide some backstory?
The concept for this ARG, Project D (just to provide a name to those just looking) originally started out as the plot for a full game. I started writing back in 2010, scrapped Ideas, changed characters and then eventually just scrapped the game plot completely, Except for one key component which is what is now the ARG's plot. Over 2 years, I've gone from having a basic idea, to scrapping certain parts, to rewriting things so it's now only one plot line with 8 characters. Moving on.

I would like help from people with some experience of ARG's to help come up with puzzles and ideas. I have the main in game story plotted out and the main timeline out of game approximated, but it only comes to about 35 days, which I feel is a little short. As well as that I'm currently feeling that there isn't enough interaction with the player. (There's currently about 8 puzzles split over 5 phases, and they're a bit easy.)

I'm planning to try avoid facebook, using tumblr, soundcloud and twitter instead for it.

For the main storytelling, there's going to be a sort of "Audio Log system" to introduce the characters and tell the story which is based around character interaction. (insert tacky "ThaT's Liek ILuvBs!" comment here)

I'm hoping to get help from people who've been part of ARG's before (myself being apart of Testsubjectsneeded and the Portal 2 ARG.) and know's how to make puzzles/have puzzle ideas, so if anyone's interested in helping out with this, message me for more info.
