Any blog named Open Arms and Closed Eyes is a Slenderblog. If not, it would become one.
It seems like it got into the Slenderman stuff awfully quickly, but it has potential. I'll be following this one.

Even though things started quite quickly, I am rather interested by this one :3

Not expecting great things with this one. There's little to no buildup, the character is bland, and the rushed beginning is making me think that it probably won't last particularly long. The creator is going to get bored of it soon.
Of course, the creator might be reading this very thread and might consequently be tempted to prove me wrong now.

I'm liking the direction this is going. I wonder if this will turn into a Fear Mythos thing (considering the mention of "Creatures" plural)
either way The Sect are a really interesting development

You clearly haven't read many blogs. The pacing is terrible, the author feigns the protagonist's naivety even though he's blatantly spelling out all the plot points for us, the writing is bland, and I've seen all this shit done so many times already. "Shadowy Mysterious Organization with vague, ambiguous purposes" practically deserves its own square on Slenderblog Bingo by this point.

I read a variety of blogs, thank you very much. Now would you kindly stop being a dick about things and leave the thread if you have nothing to say other than "LOL IT SUX".

Please give me at least a little more credit than that. I am not at all saying "LOL IT SUX." I've already said more than that. I've stated the specific problems I have with it so that if the author is reading this thread (very likely if they check their blog stats) they know what the problems I have with it are and can work on improving them. I've gotten plenty of harsh critiques since I've been writing, and being forced to accept them helped me improve greatly as a writer. It may be harsh and the author may not see it that way, but I'm only posting to help them.
I don't think any less of you for liking something that I don't like. So please don't tell me to leave a thread for expressing an opinion with the intentions of helping the author.

And would you please try not to insult the people who DO enjoy this blog while making your personal critique? There are reasons why people think you're a douche, this is one of them.

That's the issue here. That kind of comment is purely sarcastic. It's not your job to assume how many blogs another has read based on your disagreement with that person.

Congratulations. You've caught my attention. That post wasn't half bad. Here's hoping you can hold it.
Although if you're reading this, author, it might be a good idea to expand on posts from now on a little more. I figured out the reason the pacing seems so fast is because the posts are so short. Going in-depth a bit more would help a lot.

Congratulations, you're a douche. You're "well-read" we get it, and we just don't care.
Now please stop cluttering the thread with your "opinions" and let other people post, thank you.

why the quotation marks on "opinions"? It...is his actual opinion... that was an actual non-douchey post so why the hostility?
But yeah, I agree with your point, Da... that post was a definite leap in quality...and the posts could do with a bit of extra detail and length.

Sorry to double post but we have ourselves some pictures of slendy
well he seems to know slenderman's name and has turned into Navidson...despite being followed by terror incarnate he has allowed his inner photographer to reveal itself

New update!
http://openarmsandclosedeyes.blogspot.ca/2012/04/slender-man-and-mysterious-box.html
Nice little shout out to some of the VLogs plus an examination of the contents of the box Stephen found in the Witch's Castle.
I find it a little weird that he's not too concerned with the fact that Slendy may have set up camp outside his house though...
