We did not see Brian die. We saw him lying on the ground and being dragged away. He could just be knocked out.

Okay, that's like saying that Michael Corleone doesn't die at the end of The Godfather Part III. You could argue: "Oh, we just saw him fall out the chair after clutching his heart-- he might be okay!" But he's not. He's dead.

If it's just my opinion, then why does the chapter selection for the DVD of Godfather 3 call that scene "The Death of Michael Corleone?"

No, no. The comparison is your opinion. And why are we talking about The Godfather Part III?

So, to paraphrase you:

"I see your arguments that Brian is not necessarily dead, and raise you one Me-saying-nu-uh"

Eh, more or less. I don't think Brian's coming back, mostly because when Alex found out the tape with him killing Brian on it had gone missing he went out of his way to kill Jay and Jessica.

Well that's something different entirely. Brian could be dead, but what I (and with me some others) are saying is that it isn't conclusively shown in the footage of Entry #51, and that, given how often we've seen people getting knocked out and walking away in this series, it's quite possible the same happened to him.

tl;dr: I'm a dead Brian agnostic.

Still does not mean Brian's dead. Alex only has to THINK Brian is dead in order to want the tape back.

And, either way, attempted murder is a big enough crime to want to keep it under wraps.

Also, that is NOT the reason Alex tried to kill Jay and Jessica. He did it because Jay had been posting the videos on YouTube and thought that Jessica now knew too much.

But, I'm also a Brian-is-dead-agnostic. He might be, he might not be. There's just as much indication that he COULD be Hoody as there is that he COULD be dead.

It's pretty much down to two people (unless it's someone that hasn't been in the series yet, which is unlikely): Brian (a friend of Tim's, owns strange paintings of burning forests, the person whose house is the center of many strange Operator-related incidents, whose "death" consists of being knocked out and dragged off screen) and Seth (who knows how to work a camera and possibly edit and whose "death" involves otherworldly screams of horrible agony).

I think it'd be very cool to have a female ToTheArk, but they've been using male body doubles. Troseph don't strike me as incompetent film-makers. If they were gonna have ToTheArk be a woman, they would have found SOMEWAY to make Hoody at least look feminine.

You know, I'd totally be with the whole "Brian's dead" thing, I can totally see people thinking that 51 implies it, but I just don't think it's possible. There's way too many hints about who totheark is for it to be someone we haven't met yet. Look at this Tweet for instance:

https://twitter.com/marblehornets/status/49155802149289984

C'mon. Why the hell would Troy have Jay tweet that unless he wants us to guess who totheark is? Just to fuck with us? And some of the biggest examples of this are the consistent hints that A) totheark was involved with the Operator while Marble Hornets was being still produced, B) he was connected to Marble Hornet's production, and C) he knew Alex personally.

Those have been basic implied hints about totheark since Season 1. And the only people who match those hints are Alex, Tim, Brian, possibly Jay, and possibly Sarah. We know now it can't be Jay, Alex, or Tim, and I think it's far more likely that Brian survived then that Sarah, who appeared in one entry, will come back.

We don't actually know that Troy uses male body doubles. The idea that Troy, Joseph, and Tim have all played Hoody is rumor made up by...us actually. And now we believe it. But, it's a dude. You can tell it's a dude. I mean really, you can tell it's a dude about as specifically as you could tell Tim is Masky. In Entry #35 when they took Masky's mask off, you knew Tim's face would be there. If Brian's face was there it would have looked silly, because it would have been Brian's face on Tim's head. I feel the same way about Hoody being a dude. The only thing he hasn't really obscured is his body shape.

I also heard there were OOG reasons why Sarah wouldn't be appearing anymore... Is that true?

Wouldn't change my opinion that it's definitely not Sarah, just wondering.
