Maybe Alex specified the house in entry 34 in order draw Jay out to his favorite slendermurder spot across the street ("Hey Jay, come over here and check out this abandoned building with me, maybe we will find clues"). The appearance of TimMasky (and Alex's attendant ROCK SMASH) caused Alex to have to quickly abandon that plan in favor of playing delaying tactics and later drawing Jay to Rosswood.

Or, on a similar track, specified the house to draw Jay, knowing it would draw Tim back to the spot. (It didn't look like Alex was surprised by Tim's appearance in the house, but like Tim had been set up. Just my take, though.)

The way they presented both buildings made it rather clear that even if they are in the Rosswood town area (doesn't #36 take place at the parking right in front of the park?) they aren't supposed to be next to each other in-game.

This is what I meant it could also be...
but on the other hand, it is rare that the Annex appears in this entry, if it had been easy to avoid. Or maybe they thought it would not be identifiable.
During all this footage, are used short shots, to the ground, moved, or overexposed, I guess in order to avoid giving more information than necessary. But here comes the long shot, focused and sustained for a bit: by chance or for some reason?

They drive to the lot, where Alex's car is parked.

With the editing of 34-36, it's not clear how far the house is from wherever Jay parked.

I just rewatched Entry #51 and noticed that Tim wasn't actually wearing his jacket, it was draped around him (at least, his arms weren't in the sleeves.) Why would Tim take his jacket off between Entries #57 and #51? Maybe he was warm, took his jacket off and then suddenly became very cold as you-know-who approached. Or something else.

Tim isn't just out of his jacket in #51 -- he's also apparently shirtless in that scene, if I remember the commentary for this entry correctly.

Yeah, I don't know, either. ¯\(°_0)/¯

Oh yes, we had a very interesting discussion about Tim's shirtlessness both in an earlier thread, and at the synchtube. None of us came up with any logical explanation, though. :]

OOG
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Knowing Tim, he was probable just fooling around. Same thing with being pantsless in Entry 17.

Nah, he was probably actually very cold the entire time and thought it would make it better if he actually wrapped his jacket around him. Along with the blanket and everything. It's inevitable that whenever he's around or encounters the Operator, he gets cold.

Yeah, like seven of us flipped out at the same time when that scene happened. Smile

Which one? The pantslessness or the shirtlessness? Because for the former, we were all going "TIM PANTSLESS SOIGORIFIRFGWERFWIUGN!!!!!!! <3" but for the latter, that was one or two of us trying to tell people that Tim was shirtless, so it looked like,

"Tim is shirtless in this scene."

"LOL."

"No, he really is, though. I'm not even kidding."

"Seriously?"

"Yep."

"Is he really?"

"YES."

Then a few people said that they could kind of see it, and blah blah. Then we started coming up with speculations on why, but the only one I really remember was, "Because this is America, so he had the audacity to rip off his shirt and say 'I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE!'" or something like that. All of them were pretty goofy.

Really late to the party but whatever. I'm just gonna say how I felt about the entry:

It was meh. While I was watching it I was so tense and felt like it had the potential to be a really good entry but once it was over it felt like I learned nothing other than Alex came back for Tim. I'm still enjoying the series as a whole but after like 3 just ok entries in a row I'm getting disappointed.

Heh, that's crazy! So we've seen him pantsless and shirtless. I don't like where this is heading...

Yeah, I think he was just using his jacket as a blanket. That way his arms could be directly in contact with his body which would probably feel warmer than just wearing the jacket.
