To be perfectly honest, this video didn't really show us anything we didn't already "know," or at least strongly suspected.

It confirmed that the Operator was responsible for Tim's seizure when Brian found him in #51, but that's it.

the fact that tim saved the video and put a new one in says to me that he remembers everything

also its very obvious that when tim is sitting outside that alex is looking for him, you can clearly see flashlight beams coming up near him (amazing alex didn't see him he was an inch away from tims leg at one point)

Some of the lights around the 3:10 mark are definitely cars driving by in the distance, but the big blob o' light distortion might be Alex (or someone else) with a flashlight.

As for why Tim went to the annex, I can think of a few reasons:

1) Tim was tired, it was late, and he just wanted somewhere with a roof to stay the night instead of running around more and getting lost in the woods. He chose the annex over the other building because he figured if Alex came back he would be less likely to look there.

2) The big blob o' light is Alex and Tim wanted to hide from him.

3) Slendy draws people he has a hold on to the annex.

4) Sorta like 3, except it's more like the Basement of Doom scenario with Seth, with not matter how much you walk you always end up back at the annex.

I get why Tim saved the tape, he probably thought he could give it to the cops as evidence against Alex, but for the life of me I don't know why he put the last tape in. The night vision? But couldn't he use that without taping? And when Tim's eyes bulge at the end while he is coughing, I don't think that's entirely from coughing... I think Oppy makes an appearance (well distortion says so anyway) and Tim is freaking out.

But, ah, now Jay wants to visit. I sense some Oppy shenanigans in his near future. How is he going to broach this to Tim though? "Hey, dude, I watched the tapes and I would love it if you could take me to the building Alex tried to murder you in and where a tall faceless dude did horrifying and unknown things to your mind."

But really guys, cool it, I got first page after watching it, and was at the very least able to comment on the entry. (as unconstructive as I was, and for that I apologize.)

I've really enjoyed this entry, i dont know why you guys hated it, and it wasnt filler, and maybe Alex wasnt there for ''finish the job'' I think that Alex was there to see by himself the place where Brian is dissapeared, maybe.

Aside from checking for Tim, Alex could just be scouting for a place to get rid of Brian. I mean, if I was roaming an abandoned annex in the dead of night I wouldn't hesitate in carrying a pipe.

I'm essentially just saying that maybe Alex isn't just there to take care of Tim for good.

I wonder if Alex had still just been in the area the whole time or if he actively came back. I think it could make a huge difference towards how we interpret Alex's actions.

But I think the question remains, why -did- Alex come back, if he had indeed left? What would've propelled him to "finish the job" later rather than when he had already subdued Tim?

Maybe he was sleep walking, went through a door in his room, and came out in the Annex?
