Marble Hornets Synchtube?

I know this will totally suck as a first response, but could you please explain what a synchtube is? I think I have an idea, but I'm not the most internet-savvy person ever, so I'm not sure. Also not sure how it works or how it's arranged.

Sounds like its like a livestream. The video plays at the same position for everyone and they can have conversations about it while they play. Everyone gets to see everything at the same time.

Synchtube is a site that pretty much let's you watch youtube videos with a group synchronized. It works pretty well considering and has a chat. Pretty much all you do is set up a playlist of video's and everyone on that page is watching the same thing at the same time by the second

YEES! Finally a thread for the synchtubes. Count on me, but it has to be on a weekend of course. And not very late at night, because 9 pm in Alabama is arround 4 am here in Argentina.

This sounds like fun! I've only done one synchtube marathon before, but I remember that it was quite enjoyable. It's how I ended up here!
