[Trailhead] Glass Heaven I found a blog website this week [link] . The entries are pretty dry up to the latest, 7/23/11 , the last paragraph. I don't know what to make of it. :/

Man, I really don't have time to get into another game, so I won't. However, that code looks a lot like Ancient... Ok, it's not. However, it has a lot of the same symbols, and it was just a funny nerd coincidence. Alright. that's all I have to say.

The first block I believe the first block states:
Wish You Were Seen
Wish You Were Here
Wish You Were Dead
It looks like the code is utilizing a Rot2.
Still working on the second block.

I believe that only the characters underneath first block are rot2, so we could get a better understanding of the characters and have a better chance of figuring it out.

An ancient Elven dialect.

Liking this, seems nice.
The first code on the second letter seems to be "IT IS A LIE", with LIE on each paragraph. Someone is trying to warn him about the cult and blah blah blah.
As for the unsolved codes, I have no idea. Anyway, do you think I should email him and/or the what-seems-to-be-a-cult? I think it's too early but I don't know.

This looks like a good starting place for my ARG interest to take off.
There is another post and letter up, this one has an email address ... I have sent off an email, not sure what else to do for now.
There is a lot of content on the blog that doesn't seem to relate to anything, any ideas if there is something hidden there?

I'm focusing on trying to decipher the codes on both letters. I'm pretty sure that the top line of code on the new letter reads: "It is a lie."
And then the word "lie" is repeated. Can't break the bottom line.

D'OH!!! posted before I read this. Sorry for my stupid. Yes, I think emailing is a good thing. Have you worked on the bottom line of the second letter?
So far all I can come up with it:
O_ _ADI E NETORA
Which makes no sense to me. I don't know if I a translating incorrectly or if this is another language.
Has anyone made any progress on the second text block of the first letter?

I know that I'm being kinda n00bie, and if I should just be looking this up elsewhere please tell me, but how did you break the code? I can't see it at all, though I have pretty much no Crypto experience.

I'm a noob too, but lemme see if I can explain what I did without confusing myself or you in the process
So on the first letter, the author gives us a hint by telling us the symbols for A, B, D and E. Then goes on to decipher the first three words, or at least give us the letters the images stand for.
I took those letters which were obviously three words, and put them into a Rotting program. A rot2 came out with "Wish You Were." Then using that and the 4 letters defined above, I came up with the first paragraph translation.
On the second note, I used the established alphabet from the first letter and then made a leap of faith on the symbol for "t" and "l" since that made the most sense. Now we have two more letters in the alphabet. We only need another 11 to have the definitive symbol alphabet.
Clear as mud, right????

Ahh, my main confusion was that I completely missed the translation of the first three words
By the way I have sent an email to both the email on the second letter asking for a contact for the church in my area and a request for the phone number that is mentioned to be on the original leaflet, but not actually given out. Now to wait

Yeah I sent an email right after it was posted to the joy.purity.lifeSPLAT gmail.com this morning asking for more information on Spectrum and what Glass Heaven could provide.
