Because there have been several hints along the way. Remember the birthday video that was posted on the MH channel, possibly by TotheArk? That established that Alex had been stalked by the Operator as a child.

Then, back in season 2, Jessica makes reference to dreaming about being a child and being stalked by some entity - most likely the Operator.

Then Tim mentions in #55 that the abandoned hospital is near his home town.

Then this latest TTA video. It shows pictures of an old hospital. Pictures of kids. It talks about lies everywhere and how he will soon know everything.

The way my mind works, it puts all of that together and comes to the conclusion that the MH crew all grew up together and then moved away for some reason, with Tim being the last to leave.


And before you bring it up, each person that has been on camera after the original production has exhibited some form of perceived memory loss. It stands to reason, that if they don't remember being kids together, then it's most likely due to whatever caused their memory loss as adults.

I already said something about this in my earlier comment, but:

Do you think it could be the location/whereabouts of the ark, or at least what the Operator/Alex/and anyone else involved in the story has to do with it?

 		don't know. i always thought the ark was the one place the operator couldn't get to them, which is why they wanted to find it

:/ No it's not. FF8 had some weird thing about time compression. The being together as kids thing was thrown in there and doesn't even fit with continuity.

From what I've seen, my theory does fit into continuity. But we will have to see how things play out.

 		So the first thing I noticed is that there's no sound in this video, which is interesting. The second thing is that it appears to take place in a school, we've got classrooms and teachers, which may tie into the fact that in Alex's movie, Brian was supposed to visit his old school. What I really like about it is, it holds out the hope that TTA and Jay will finally get to meet face to face and hopefully at least some of the mysteries will be explained.

The parts I'm not sure about are the one with the boy and the projector and the spider. Now, I did notice that all of the movie had to do with people watching either a slideshow, movies, or a puppet show, maybe it's just saying that there's clues in the videos that he's missing still and he needs to watch again?

 		Something cool they should have did: after the events of 52, jay becomes infected himself and over the months we have in between entry 33 and entry 53, jay does some naughty things himself - when totheark is revealed, he will show jay just what he has been doing without realizing it and why he couldn't

now that i think about it, why did jay REALLY start following alex / break into his apartment? he didn't really have a reason. he hadn't seen alex since the day of entry 43 and he didn't follow alex into rosswood that day. before entry 33 occurs, jay hasn't seen the footage from entries 42,43,44,45,50,or 51: he had no reason to suspect alex was up to anything. the last time he saw alex, alex asked for his help but jay didn't want to help him at the moment.


the operator hasn't bothered jay in almost a year now, something has to be up. the most we've heard of him is jay's trouble sleeping / headaches through tweets

There is the boy with the camera, but there is the mysterious hand on his back... guiding him? Jay the puppet who thinks he is doing this of his own free will?

The almost apologetic tone....
"Someday you will understand" (why we are doing this to you? Almost an apology...)

"Liars everywhere" (TTA as well as Alex?)
If Tim really knows what's on the tapes and gave them to Jay knowing he would take the bait and immediately want to see the place for himself?

The little puppet show is interesting....
a man in a hat on the left (Jay), on the right a man hanging from a tree (Alex/Operator), and in between a figure that suddenly takes itself out of the picture, leaving the other two facing each other.

What if this is how TTA is making Jay confront Alex? And TTA will stand back and let Jay take both the lead and the lumps?

I like the spider too... "spinning webs of lies" message maybe?
In any case, can't wait to find out!

I always thought the ark was where Oppy put the missing people he had telaported away or whatever, and Totheark wants to find it to set them free, not necessarily out of sentiment, but just raw justice as well. I also considered the possiblity that while Slendy keeps his victims there, he "feeds" off of them, which is why Totheark believes that if he finds it, he can put an end to this mysterious slender stalker. If not that, I thought that it was whatever Totheark needs to corrupt Slenderface. but I was leaning more along the lines of Jay knows where this ark is, but he doesn't know he knows. I found this video to be sort of goading him to look closer and deduce this bit of information that they know they can get from him; inevitably, their eventual discovery of the ark may be what rids them of the Operator, or at least what finds their missing friends.

Ill probably change my mind in an hour.

Nothing really slides into the boy's shoulder, I do not think that is a reflection, as Jamocha says. I just think it is another student in the class, which is behind him.

Actually, I can not see why everyone describes ... a man hanging from a tree? another man with a hat? really? I have always boasted of imagination, but this is beyond me ...
Normally a puppet representing stories designed to educate ... a way to manipulate the children, or not so young. I think this scene just means that, beyond the characters that compose it, that there is a story, woven with the intention of manipulating Jay ... by Alex? Tim? TTA? I do not know...

We will have to find out from the next video commentary whether or not that was what Troy intended to show or if they are only happy accidents.

For me, however, all the fun's in the speculation.
