Could someone post the solve? I am highly interested. By the way, where do you guys discuss the puzzles? Seems like there is a place I am not aware of.

Okay the hebrew either translates to:

Reading left to right (english method)

Quote:
And in the Minutes that by anti-C from approximately in a to the airport on that KM's of C's

Or reading right to left (Hebrew method)

Quote:
In the hotel is located in km that's anti-tank missiles to the Airport in approximately than a tank by that minutes the PLO and

It is possible that this is just misdirection like the Knights Park on the experience password

I think the hebrew may be more of a general clue, I'm going to have to start work in a mo, so I'll come back to it this evening if noone has figured it.

As for speaking about puzzles away from uF, get yourself a Skype account we discuss on a SMS Group.

Experience Solutionish:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
not completely giving the solution, the star in the middle is the end of a spiral. The code looks like playfair but isn't, but it led to the answer

oh shoot, i'll go get a mic or something. and a camera.. uhhh... i'm going to warn everyone now, i speak extremely fast at times. just tell me to slow down and i will. Everyone at my work hates when i get on the radios because they're not used to a rapidfire non-american accented blitzkrieg of speech. How many people are on skype and when? i work 2pm-10pm weekdays, and have evening business on sundays, but other than that i'm free usually whenever... as soon as i get a mic. or i can type along i dont actually know how skype works. OH HEY! My phone has a skype app!! Let me set that up....

i feel so out of the loooooop! @..@ but really thats my fault for being under a rock.

wait also he was referring to hotel things on his page, like with the maids thing... huuu... although are the maids the queens?

Hi folkes!

Ok...let me post a bit of an update as to the state of play.

A couple of days ago we found the rooms where the Chess boards were located...this was where the Alice jigsaw puzzle was pointing to.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Each line on the back of the Alice puzzle comes from a poem. The name of that poem is a domain name. I'll let you find the site yourself but remember Pietro is in the UK...& therefore so is this. This will give you the entrance for Innocence's room. Experience is merely the flipside of this one...substitute accordingly.

These rooms required a password to get in...which was were the original knight's key came in to it (the one posted a couple of days ago with the big Xs...not the one posted today with the Hebrew letters). Unfortunately someone found a spare key (for want of a better term)...the password for the site was able to be found in the source code & Pietro was informed (as it was felt that he should know about this). He responded by locking the site temporarily to upgrade security (ie change the password...lol. This is also what he's referring to when he talks about the maids, the patience pic on his FB, etc). For a couple of days, all that could be seen was a couple of images of a lock & phrases from William Blake & out of Alice in Wonderland (mirrored).

Last night the sites were unlocked again & the knights from both sides received new clues that directed towards the new passwords. Experience's has been discussed.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Another tip...start with the 1st letter of each set & make your way round in a spiral

This provides the password. The username is very simple. Very, very simple & obvious....& relevant to that side which you're looking at. Remember it's case sensitive.

Presumably Innocence's username is similar but relevant to that side. The new password clue has been posted (the one with the Hebrew letters). For those wanting to look at the Hebrew, the letters are (presuming right to left, top to bottom): פונעשדהמגלאבכתיסקשטצחז

We've already been into each room & know what is there. Innocence has also submitted a first move for the chess game. But we just have to get back past the new lock & back in to the room before we can continue.

A question was asked re: where everyone is discussing the game. We've tried to mention this a few times & encourage people to join in if they can. There is a facebook group. A group of us also chat regularly on skype (just with text...no voice or cameras required)...at the time this was the easiet & quickest way for everyone who wanted to chat together as we worked on the puzzles together that also provided a way of logging chats (which facebook doesn't do very well). However we're also open to starting to use IRC or something similar for those who don't want to skype. If you would like more details, please feel free to IM me for a group invite for facebook or for more details on the chats we've been having. We'd like to be able to include everyone who wants to join in more than just on the forum.

Could someone explain, why we (you) do not post found answers to riddles here on this board, like in other games I know? Is it because Experience is playing against Innocence? It is difficult to follow with all the missing information, e.g the site you found. Unfortunately I do not have the time to solve all the riddles by myself.
At the moment it seems that a small group is making progress whereas the others are totally confused about the state of the game.

The answer to your question is 'Yes'. There are two sides, Innocence and Exprerience.

Pietro has asked the Knights to prove their worth by solving the two most recent puzzles. Being a twonk I've solved the Experience's password (Red side) before my own. That and Pietro sent the keys to the wrong players.

I suppose technically we are playing against each other and I keep losing track who is on what side.

Perhaps for the moment we should all decide to share all info.

EDIT: Current thinking with the new Innocence puzzle is some sort of book code, maybe using the Bible as the book but that seems a little complex for PR recent puzzles.

EDIT2: New translation of hebrew, using Microsoft translator not sure that it helps though:

Z/r t t. t u to km that a.b. as mg of t & n and

EDIT3: Translating the characters one at a time gives:

mn . The D. That By V. A From About In A To The Airport. T. That KM

EDIT4: Well it appear that I was working on the right lines with a book code just the wrong book, well done Epiphany.

I've been trying to post updates as & when I can but it's difficult when a. puzzles run in together & don't have a discrete end & b. different people communicate & work together in different ways (made especially difficult when there are about three or four different places people are currently communicating...especially if people get email clues or chat with Pietro & clues are given out in chat...these don't seem to all be posted here all the time, unfortunately - it seems to depend who gets them). I also don't know all the answers myself. So if I've missed a day or puzzle, I do apologise & I do realise there is confusion particularly for those who might be coming in & out of the game or are trying to work out the puzzles on their own.

I think Levi (Red Mosquito) is trying to work on an IRC room that everyone can access via the web if people want to work together on puzzles, etc. This should reduce the chatter to one, more accessible place for those who like to bounce ideas off each other as they try to work out the puzzles. No doubt he will be in contact.

Perhaps this is a good time to remind people it's helpful for everyone if they can post chat/email/etc...to keep everyone in the loop.

Always THX for your updates, epiphany. The attached chat-log is in essence the board game rules. To date have posted here at uF the FEW chats with PR to which I've been privy except this one where my server kept replicating & then expunging me like a peculiar staph virus. Laughing

I will start working on a wiki, 'cause I think this might be a good way to keep things structured and to help people to share "knowledge".

Of course this will only work if people are willing to contribute to the content.

Ok...solved the Innocence's knight puzzle. Big spoiler below.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The numbers represent line/word/letter in the poem Auguries of Innocence. eg 2/3/1 means line 2, word 3, letter 1 = H. So going through the grid we get:

H P - R N P - N
H O - - S - - -
I A M - Q I A -
- T O - - N L -
- O R O - D U I
P - N S - - - S
P - S L U - L Q
O - T E I E A M

where - is a Hebrew letter. This is a knight's puzzle & the experience's clue came with a "knight tour" & a note about following the path. Using knight's moves (as in the chess game) & using the Hebrew as a kind of path that can't be crossed...starting at the top green square & moving round we get the word:
HARLEQUIN

This is the password for Innocence's room. We've already established the username is innocence. Tried it at the room referred to earlier by myself & Octe & it works.

So we're in! Now back to the chess game!

Auz, one has been started. Any assistance you might be able to give with it would be appreciated.

EDIT: But you knew that, correct? Apologies for telling you something that you already knew.

So for completeness sake - I looked at the original knights puzzle of which the spare key was found and it appears it was meant to be solved the same way as the innocence puzzle.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Pretty much using Auguries of innocence as the book for the book code and working your way from the square to the other side of the board using knight moves where anything not in the form of 1.2.3 as invalid (so you know which move to make)

You get VERDURE which used to work.

Again this information isn't useful not but for the sake of completeness I wanted to post it.
