So I've been talking with a few people on facebook and although it seems like nothing is happening, I think the clues have been dropped and we need to do something to remove the heat.

Specifically references to 'heat' and work being chaotic
8 reverting to 2
Reading around the abe solution

Focusing on that last one, If we read more on PL, we see this text:

"If patiently thy bidding they obey,
Dismiss them not disconsolate; reveale
To Adam what shall come in future dayes,
As I shall thee enlighten, intermix "

This seems key to me as he then asked us on facebook about if we would know the future.

Also the generic innocent vs experience theme going on.

-------------

Finally unrelated - I am going to set up a skype chat if people want to talk real time. PM me or Singer or skype name

A few of us were online when Pietro turned up on FB & had conversations with each of us individually. Most of his replies to each of us were the same. Here is my convo:

Quote:

13.57
PR: Good morning player.

Me:Good...well...afternoon here. Things a bit less chaotic for you today, I hope

PR: Sluggishly hot. Couldn't sleep at all. Hence being here right now...

Me: Heat is always an infernal annoyance, isn't it? Especially hen trying to sleep
when, een
even

PR: Agreed.

Me: I guess it depends to which level the heat goes...

PR: Unknown. It was 25 during the day, and remained stifling in the evening and night. No air.
Prefer the cold. Can think then - sharpen the thoughts.

Me: Have to agree with you there. The cooler it is, the easier it is to seek clarficiation
I was perusing circles within circles earlier...but heat might have been an issue then because I certainly didn't get much clarification
We have been doing a bit of reading...those of us online at the moment...

PR: Good.

Me: We had come to the conclusion we needed to "intermix" more as we patiently waited enlightenment about future days

PR: Yes. Pieces scattered make no picture...

Me: but having all the pieces makes putting the picture together much easier

PR logged off at 14.17

The logging off at 17 past the hour seems to have got more consistent the last few interactions...& 17 has been mentioned before. I should mention it would have been 05:17 in the UK at the time.

Pietro also turned up on Google Chat & made some weird error responses...I'll let others post those (as I wasn't one of the ones who received them).

***edited to add***
Hubby pointed out it would be "25 during the day" over in the UK...because it was the 25th (on the day he's referring to). Current UK weather conditions aside...

Here's my conversation with PR:

Quote:
PR: Sluggishly hot. Couldn't sleep at all. Hence being here right now...
LV: How hot is it there?
PR: Unknown. It was 25 during the day, and remained stifling in the evening and night. No air.
Prefer the cold. Can think then - sharpen the thoughts.
LV: I'm better in the cold myself.
Here, the heat is bad; the humidity, though, is unbearable.
Is it very humid there?
Is there anything that could be done to help with the heat?
PR: No - very dry at current.

So the game is now afoot. On FB tonight:

Quote:
Kings are now among players - as are Queens. They have an understanding of how the first puzzle was solved as they solved it first. Ask them for assistance: Amy Roberts, King of Innocence meet your opponent Levi Voland, King of Experience. The Queens of both I and E are players who may not be around so much, and, as such, these 'ladies' of mystery are encloaked in shadow and anonymity. Queens, Kings - the game is on to be first to move on the board... enjoy. How YOU organise it is up to you. I will only confirm the pieces are ALL correct or not. I will not assist in this. The seconds are now counting ...

I'm Amy...Red Mosquito is Levi.

PR sent me this tonight:

Quote:

Player,

Congratulations - you were excellent with your ability to solve the first challenge.
As such, you are now King of Innocence, read the attached... Wink
Well done.

The Innocent players will need to go to this site to find their pieces... You may want to help them...?
http://prezi.com/8upnxzcp0kx3/a-rural-pen/

Enjoy...

Puppeteer.

The slideshow is interactive & easier to view in fullscreen (click around the screen). It appears he is sorting us into groups & allocating chess pieces to each person...then the moves begin.

Innocence...experience...we need to work as teams to sort the clues. He says he's only going to accept completely correct answers.

We're wondering if players who submitted results to PR about the Abe puzzle were given a side to play...or if everyone has to choose one themselves?

Voice of the Bard Puzzle:

Well George was described in the article:

Quote:
An article in Lingua Franca described Bonanno as resembling "the Grim Reaper himself, albeit in tanned, rested form.

The slide talks about not standing too still, perhaps then Death will catch you - stabs in the dark.

These dates are they in American format or English? - English

NH - Initials perhaps

[KCVO] could be Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order

Maybe equates to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Hartnell

12 June 1901, London – 8 June 1979 - Norman Hartnell, that looks right (English date format then)

Norman is the Father (Knight/Bishop?)

Is our Queen the Mother?!? - EDIT5: Yes she was born on Bruton Street where Norman sold dresses to the Queen,
Quote:
Bruton Street in London Mayfair has something Royal about itself, in fact is the birth place of Queen Elizabeth II

The language at the bottom of the slide looks Hebrew - perhaps that how we get the Mother.

EDIT: Rural Pen Puzzle

NW10 3PH is an English postcode for: London Borough of Brent, London which contains the location of The Thames Christian College although I haven't been able to tie up the numbers: 101491 yet

EDIT2: Unique Reference Number (URN): 101491. (Never heard of a URN before, learn something new everyday Wink)

EDIT3: Okay not Christian College but: College Green Nursery School and Services

EDIT4: I think perhaps the Nursery School equates to Pawns.

So some thoughts on the Innocence slide (which is probably going to be edited hugely in a moment...lol)...please feel free to comment, correct, or whatever!

Quote:
The title "A rural pen" seems to be taken from the introduction poem of Songs of Innocence by William Blake: http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/songs-of-innocence-introduction/

Quote:
Central frame:...from his email...we need to find 6 concepts, 6 pieces, 6 people

Quote:
1st frame: 2 pieces in this frame. Names are so important no? image of moth (LatentMoth comes to mind...lol). And a small image of a painting of an angel with a pitcher.

Quote:
2nd frame: The image is Boticelli's Adoration of the Magi. There is a hidden memory verse + text: Deuteronomy 32:37-38 ...let them be your? The verse reads: He will say: "Now where are their gods, the rock they took refuge in, the gods who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise up to help you! Let them give you shelter! From this, I'm thinking rook (shelter/"rock")? The idea of gods has come up before. Magi could indicate bishop.

Quote:
3rd frame: The two numbers on either side are a London area code NW10 3PH, leading to the area of Brent. The number in the middle (101491) is possibly the reference number for an inspection report on College Green Nursery School & Services (on College Road, Brent). Pietro has mentioned to some people in chat before that he works with children. I don't think pawns are pieces to be found just yet as Pietro mentioned in his email they would be placed after the other pieces were in position. They are both the same though...which only leaves Knights? The text under the image is Yiddish but haven't translated yet...it might be more illuminating.

Quote:
4th frame: the map puzzle. Am wondering if this has to do with the instructions Pietro gave in his email regarding placement of pieces.

Random thoughts on Experience side (I also reserve the right to edit mightily)

Code:
Title:  "Hear the voice of the Bard" is the Introduction poem to Songs of Experience by William Blake

Code:
Central frame:  Same as with Innocence

I was incorrect, too cursory of a glace this morning. The central frame is not the same. The line of chess pieces has additional information at the bottom. The tops of letters? Maybe an article or phrase beneath the graphic?

Code:
1st frame:  2 pieces' "names" are here with you having to seek (Look closely...) a little further - what do these two have in common? don't stand too still though...

[Photograph of George Bonnano at Columbia University]

This seems like Bishops to me. For some reason, Columbia makes me think of bishops, and there does exist a Diocese of Columbia... Meaning that there is a Bishop of Columbia.

As Amandel has noted, there is a strong connection here for her.

SkelJelly is from NY, NY. Columbia University is in NY. A stretch, maybe? Best I've got so far.

Code:
2nd frame:  Two pieces are here, both are the same though - the family will take you there:  Where is it?

[Graphic of modified family tree?  Father on left, Mother on right, both point to center square with "NH(KCVO) 12/6/1901 - 8/6/1979"

Hebrew characters beneath.]

Norman Hart (Knight Commander of the Victorian Order) born June 12, 1901 in London; died June 8, 1979 in Windsor. Grew up in Streatham, the son of publicans who ran the Crown & Scepter.

Any of this resonate with anyone?

According to SkelJelly, Norman Hart's middle name is "Bishop." Stronger connection to that piece than a random association to Columbia (King's College.) Perhaps these are the bishops?

According to Quintas Septimus, if you arrange the outer squares in this graphic in a straight line, in clockwise order, the Father and Mother squares are the outermost. With this in mind, the arrows seem to suggest Castling to me. Perhaps these are the rooks?

Code:
3rd frame:  Two pieces are within this frame - their names will help the king with the map

[Automated Hospital Delivery and Asset Management Solutions]

www.aethon.com

Note the logo... I believe this relates to knights. Also, Aethon was the name of several horses:

One of four horses who pulled the chariot of Helios across the sky.
A horse belonging to Ares.
A horse belonging to Hector.
A horse belonging to Pallas.

The word can also be taken as "blazing" "burning" "shining" or "tawny."

http://www.aethon.com/ - Probably not related to: Automated Hospital Delivery and Asset Management Solutions

But...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aethon - Many horses aka Knights in chess.

We were also sent two doc files with instructions & an image of a monarch butterfly (different for each). I've attached mine here...don't forget to send the image in the "instructions" to the back to read all the message.

We weren't sure if we were meant to share all this or not but there seems to be a bit of a puzzle around the monarch perhaps? Plus the instructions make things clearer (even if it's only as clear as mud). Many hands make light work & all that...

You'll also notice the colour similarity between the two sides of the Abe puzzle....

I destegged it & received a a stupidly large block of text...too big to put here. Download the image & go check out http://philtools.com/image_steganography/ to decode it (make sure you get it all). Cipher time!

meh...ok...no .docx uploads today by the looks of it. Here is the contents of the first document titled "Dear Player who will be King"

Quote:
Dear Player who will be King:

In days of old and days anew
The time for a needed king is true -
Which side of life will be most skilled:
In getting theirs through unscathed, not killed?
Changes will occur throughout
Eight by Eight and all in doubt
Strings to pull, pieces to play
In your role: both night and day
Aiding you is one of heart
Whose sacrifice has indeed took part
But, as a king trusts all his 'men'
Can the same be said of 'women'?
To save 'her' from losing face
And protecting 'her' most sacred grace
'She' knows you, but you not 'her'
Thus starts the fun for those in power…

The king is a role in which you will be expected to be talking to the players on your team and, when the game fully starts between the teams, you will have to interact and make decisions on part of your team. The queens are unknown variables – pieces and players who are both interchangeable and also, through THEIR choices, have allowed YOU to be king… Treat them both with respect… Wink
One final note – players of both genders will be playing roles of both 'archetypal' gender-specific roles. It is not a comment on the player, but of the piece-gender role when gender will be discussed. Please respect this when talking about, and to, pieces/players - thank you.

Pietro Radillo, Puppeteer

And here is the 2nd document titled "instructions for Innocence King"

Quote:
Monarch member of:
Innocence
The king without a sword… the land without a king…

Scattered throughout Albion's shores are glimpses, icons,
representations of your army.
Each piece needs to be named, to be understood and to be placed correctly.
1 concept = 1 piece = 1 person.
6 concepts. 6 pieces. 6 people.
Which is which?
Of course, this is a task you can set your followers and not worry about yourself…

YOUR concern is WHERE to hold court.
It will be central to all of YOUR pieces.
To aid you:
Knights and bishops of both sides convene together as understood of olden days.
Their names will lead the way for locating their spaces.
Using your cornerstones of your palace, you will be able to centre upon your point.

Once your court is assembled, the pawns will follow…

The first court to be fully assembled will move first.

There was also an image on this document, which I'll attach. Destegging it also produces a stupidly large amount of text.

We think this 2nd one might refer to the map puzzle? We weren't sure if we were supposed to share these or not (& we hope Pietro doesn't mind!)...but decided to do so as it helps to have everyone thinking about the puzzles & possible solutions.

Lots of words, no clear meaning except maybe the starting location. Just so you all know I've emailed PR the following:

Quote:
Voice of the Bard:

Not necessarily correct in all aspects but let us see:

1st Slide: Death aka Grim Reaper
2nd Slide: Bruton Street (26)
3rd Slide: Aethon (Horses aka Knights)

Samael

I know probably wrong but worth a try.

Oops forgot about the map Wink

EDIT: The Angel in the Rural Pen is: Titan Goddess of the Dawn EOS

EDIT2: The closest I can come on the moth is maybe it is a Knot Grass Moth but I'm really not sure.
