A character seeing something off camera and running away from it. This happened in Social Documentary, who only had Slendy show up for about one second in the 16 videos he had up, and then relied on the Operator Symbol for the rest of the scares. His last video had him running from something completely off camera.

2) Cryptic messages with scribble-writing.
3) Dropping the camera and running away with Slendy/other walking in front of the camera with ear-raping distortion.

The distortion is what gets me every time.

I can understand camera malfunctions or what not due to Slender Man's presence but is the massive amount of distortion necessary every time? I mean, some videos like MH and TT do it really well, but others are just blasting near deafening audio effects that really go from "wow, neat" to "WTF DID I JUST LISTEN TO OH GOD I CAN'T HEAR"

Also, Fallen: What series are you referring to? D'you think you could PM me the channel name? I kind of want to see this for myself.

I think telaportation and how often people speculate about it is disturbingly overdone. For me, it ruins the realistic allusion, especailly when humans (i.e., Masky or Hoody from MH) are somehow capable of doing it. I'm not the biggest fan of the entire concept, but since I know it's a part of the mythos and I have to accept it thereof, I have reached the conclusion that ONLY FREAKING SLENDERMAN is able to do it. If I'm ever proven wrong, I am sure I will tear my hair out.

This got a huge long discussion in an MH thread recently too, so I'm a little reluctant to say it, but also cursing. It's device to make it sound realistic. I get that. But I can't stand it when it's used excessively, and sometimes it's just freaking unwarranted. Part of the reason I quit on Tribe Twelve was because of the goshdern lanuage.

But that's just my opinion, ladies and gentlemen.
