I think the morse code is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Gonzalo Dussan
who survived a plane crash in 1996. I have no clue what that has to do with anything though. I also don't get the Greek letters, 44 or "whit."

Always exciting to come back and see progress has been made.

So i was looking at the stuff you guys uncovered, and something struck me funny.

That new bristel goodman facebook https://www.facebook.com/bristel.goodman

when i clicked on the profile picture, there is a pretty obvious misplaced pixel on the left cheek, like someone cut out a section from somewhere else and pasted over, could be nothing, just thought id mention it.

Also i figured it was worth mentioning that facebook was created around a time when there was a major lull in development, I believe someone already used the phrase breadcrumbs.

Anyway, happy new year guys and gals

Probably not related to the current puzzle, but I found a few other websites for the new movie. It looks like it is being shown this week at a film festival.

Gonzalo Dussan survived the crash of American Airlines Flight 965 in 1995. He was on the same plane as the Christos guy who "sent" the last postcard to Milena.

Must be something important there.

Ha!

And it all comes together. In 1996 the 1st Paris Kanellakis Theory and Practice Award (named for the "Greek" guy who died in the plane crash - the last postcard) was split among six researchers. Guess which one?

The next brain lock answer is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Whitfield Diffie

He was one of the winners of the Paris Kanellakis Theory and Practice Award. No clue on the next one, see the picture below. There is also a backwards audio file played which is part of a transcript about the John F. Kennedy autopsy.

I am having trouble translating the symbols in the clue. I was able to find a couple of the icons but can't put together a full sentence.

Just in case it helps, this is what lee used in the assassination

The rifle that was used to kill JFK was a 6.5mm Carcano type, model 91/38 rifle. It was manufactured at the Royal Arms Factory in Terni, Italy, in 1940

Hello, longtime lurker (just opened a new account!). I mostly read stuff here, as I either arrive too late to the party and/or the puzzles are above my cracking skills.

In any case, if this

refers to the Chinese writing and you haven't been able to translate those yet, it seems I can do something for once!

Disclaimer: I don't actually speak Chinese, but as I know Japanese I know my way around Kanjis, I was therefore able to find the characters.

摄影师 means "photographer", "camera operator" (http://www.wordreference.com/zhen/%E6%91%84%E5%BD%B1%E5%B8%88)

Specifically:

摄 take (a photo), absorb
影 shadow, image
师 is a suffix that means master (of an art), professional, teacher, etc.

Hope this helps! (Not sure if this should be a spoiler, but I don't think so as it's not an actual solution. Please let me know in case it should be and I'll edit).

*goes back to lurking

Since the answer has two text boxes, my guess is that the first box relates to the lone gun clue, and the second box relates to the photographer.

With this idea, I keep using the photographer's name in the second box and variations on the gun in the first. Since it takes so long to input an answer I've gotten nowhere, but just throwing it out there.

As 摄影师 also means "camera operator", maybe trying with Zapruder's name is worth a shot too?
