Thread closer from Lucy
Quote:
A few of those locations are Tesla's old laboratories, but there are other things in their place now. I can't imagine the tower is there.

This was after I downloaded google earth to my comp, but could be coincidental.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
301 Park Avenue = Waldorf Astoria
46 & 48 East Houston Street = Old Tesla Lab
8th Avenue = Hotel New Yorker
174 Fifth Avenue = Old Tesla Lab
2960 Broadway = Columbia University
Went on street view (not making the trip from Fargo sorry) and didn't see anything that caught my eye (other than a couple of pretty ladies in dresses!).

So it is! Lousy tiny text
So now I get the clue.

Word 1 on Line 9 = 'emanating' which gets us into the patent folder.

My theory is that the Wardenclyffe tower replacement will be the New Yorker hotel itself. In the narritive Tesla wasn't just feeding pigeons on the roof for 20 years (according to Charles in Ch 4).
Twenty years preceeds the age of the hotel but perhaps it will be said he built the tower into the plans in secret (?).
The New Yorker was the tallest building in New York City at 43 stories when it was built in 1930. It also had its own power generator, enough for 35,000 people. 1930 is only 13 years before Tesla's death so maybe the 20 years was a mistake and should have been 10 years. Tesla had two rooms, 3327 & 3328.
The site I referenced for the building trivia was http://www.newyorker.com/talk/2008/01/14/080114ta_talk_singer

Twain's letter also makes a point to mention hotels, so a very plausible idea.

In chapter 4 when Charles shows Ben and Sarah the second tower sketch, who else's mind jumped to the film Contact and the reveal of the second machine? Also as a coincidence the travel pod in Contact was enclosed in a dodecahedral framework.
The 20 doda Earth-emcompassing grid reminds me a bit of the Sentinels from 2001: A Space Odyssey and the evolution of mankind.

I don't remember that as a download for those of us with dumbphones. I've appreciated the downloads that I've seen.

I would look here also http://findthetruth.jackboxers.com/post/24917658587/mark-twain-in-teslas-lab-1895#comment-557642530
The map behind the notebook is a map of NYC and on it is a line going down Broadway. The line that you can see at the north end is Fulton St. and the south end is Cortlandt St.
Tesla NY lab was at 46-48 East Houston St, NYC in 1901.
On 45 East Houston St. a wall of plywood with graffitii and posters on it. I would be nice if someone would look and see if someone put up a Jack Boxer poster.
If someone could look at these locations to see if anything is to be found.

Help with Connecting the Dots I'm sorry, I seem to have missed something. Overlooking the info here I can't seem to see where my next step is to close out Lucy's "Connecting the Dots" thread. I have opened the Tesla folder, and have the message from her that says, "I think we unlocked a file with that script. It looks like a folder called Tesla just appeared." I looked at the three items in that folder, but am unsure what to do next. I see some discussion about the map that's in that folder here, but I'm not sure what to actually do with any of it. Am I missing something right under my nose maybe? Anyone have a nudge for me in the right direction? Thanks!
Edit: never mind, I just re-typed the Tesla terminal code and it cleared out the conversation, must have been a glitch or something. Carry on then!
Re-edit: I guess I'm still am missing something, all my conversations are greyed out but I haven't received anything new since yesterday. Is there something I need to do to fire off the next part? The last completed conversations I have are:
Lucy: connecting the dots
Sanchez: doda script
Jack: progress
Oracle: stravinsky
