Question: L3 mirror at NRU

I've tried searching to see if this has come up before without success, so apologies if I'm repeating (late starter).

Has the L3 site always been mirrored at http://mail.nru.us? I was trying alternate server addresses last week (eg research.nru.us) and I'm sure I tested mail.nru.us without success.

As if 12/09/2003, at 04:49:47 PM, it was redirecting to l3. See http://www.nru.us/_private/result.htm . I know I checked it soon after that report, and it was redirecting. But I am not sure about anytime before that.

I think I checked that site during the month of break in November and it was redirecting there at that time. Don't know if it has been directing there since pre-game or not. It may just be an artifact left over from site set up that any non functional pages direct to L3. Then again we have the fishy "booyah!" pages at NRU so maybe something else is going on there. I'm a bit surprised we are not getting a password protected page, since that is where the NRU "webmail" would be under other circumstances.

I posted the report on that page. It seems that between the report and possibly the discussion we are having here that the PMs have now fixed it to show the nru.us site instead - so I'm guessing it must have been unintentional.
