Amazing entry. Amazing. Very dark in places ("imagine waking up with a broken leg", with a pause to realise that he may have walked on it/caused irreparable damage while not being lucid) and hilarious in others (I really wanted Tim to mention the DVDs!)

Next entry: TTA filming Tim and only Tim, in a way that makes it obvious it's after this Entry. That would show that Tim cannot escape.

I get the impression that Tim watched the entries backwards (as a normal person probably would do - start with the most recent stuff) so what he sees is the following:

Jay lying to him over the past few weeks.
Flashback 6 years to getting beaten by Alex and left to Slendy.
Entry #52 where he saves Jay's life. Entry #51 where he helps Jay in some vague way.
Entry #43?: Crazy stuff going down with Alex.
Entry #35: Broken leg.

At that point he stops watching because of all the rage and hurt building up inside him. So he conveniently misses the tackling and stalking of Jay. He looks like a victim in the whole thing and has no memory of being stalky/scary towards Jay. This would also explain the "meeting Jessica twice" thing, right? Jay definitely meets her more times than that.

Also, does this mean that Hoody is the one who takes people home and puts them in their bed/car after the Operator turns up? Someone had to take Tim back and there isn't really anyone else who would do it.

I tweeted Jay and suggest he takes down the DVD sales (just for lulz). No idea how he'll respond to that. Taking them down isn't an option OOG, leaving them up isn't an option IG.

Assume for the moment that IG, the link isn't there, but OOG it is. Razz

I think an important details that's gone missed is the 'blood in the hair' phrase.

We saw Alex looking bloody over his face (probably hair too) early on. It could have just been one time Tim was involved in some situation where he got bloody, or it could be an indication of a 'close encounter'.

I think the "blood in his hair" Tim talked about was referring to the maglight hit.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Holy crap that was an awesome entry. Such a change from the suspense building most entries are known for. When Tim greeted Jay with a fist and calling him a lying piece of shit I almost lost it...

I think I may have seen a few instances of the movement in the background you guys are talking about. Most seems to be light reflections changing. However at the very end when Jay is crying into the camera, I'm almost certain I saw movement in the background. Though this may just be Marblehornets induced paranoia.

Tim acts as though he is the only one that is experiencing what's happening. It's obvious that, when he looked up MH and found the channel, he just watched an entry or 2, or else he'd know that, A, Jay DOES know what it feels like to wake up in a car off the road, or to be missing chunks of his memory (I mean, Tim complains about missing three weeks. Jay was missing SEVEN MONTHS)... Tim blamed Jay for everything when it was HIM that put on that mask and attacked Alex, and led Jay to more clues. He ENTICED Jay to continue his search, to continue the investigation.

On another note, it'd be great if Tim saw Entry #59 and realized that Jay was telling the truth about wanting to tell him that night. I had a feeling that, even though Tim dismissed it, he probably didn't believe Jay when he said he was going to come clean. If Tim does realize it, I hope he and Jay make up and finally do something about TO situation together. Because all this "be alone" bullshit has to stop. When everyone's alone and apart, it's a perfect way for nothing to get done and for more people to get hurt.

I still think Alex is to blame. If not for the tapes back in season one, Jay wouldn't be involved in this. Maybe Tim would (because he was apparently stalking Tim according to season 3's Behind the Scenes tapes), but Jay, the most seemingly innocent person in all of this, would still be living in his apartment, not having an obsession with filming things and living comfortably in his derpiness.

This entry has me thinking a lot. The story is progressing INSANELY, that's for sure.

So... blah blah blah great acting, Jay's an inadvertent asshole, blah blah...

Something I don't think anyone has brought up is that at least two time during the confrontation, a small red light can be seen coming from the shadows. I'll see if I can get some screenshots, or at least times when they appear. It could be a camera light, a sign that TTA was watching this all happen.

I can't wait for TTA's response.

First post on the forums, hi all. :3

I rewatched the video, if the lights I'm seeing are the same as yours, I think they're from car lights driving on the road on the other side. I say this because they A) Move quite fast and B) At some point they're at around the point of in between the building's support beam and then jump back to by Tim's bumper. If this was a person it wouldn't have jumped so fast.

Also rewatching I've picked up on the intro that Jay sets us up for waiting for Tim... He stresses "I don't know what all Tim remembers, or what he doesn't remember or what he's LYING about remembering." maybe I'm reading too much into this but that sticks out to me.

Love the entry but I feel like I'm missing something in it...

Using some kind of cookie-related Javascript magic? if(cookie_says_you_are_Tim) remove_DVD_link() ;

Damn, missed the first pages by a mile.

Anyway, wow. That was a very well-acted entry. I feel terrible for both Tim and Jay (punch to the face is never enjoyable). This is the first time the series has told us how fucked up this Mask-alternate has made Tim's life. Waking up with a broken leg and not knowing how it happened? Jesus. Ow.

I do agree, I think Tim's going to rethink his decision, or something is going to force him to rethink it. Perhaps he'll have another Masky lapse. It seems as though escaping from the Operator's clutches is nearly impossible. Something always comes to drag you back in.

I was really surprised Jay never bought this up. I'm sure it wouldn't have outwardly affected Tim in his rageyness, but it would at least remind him that Jay's been just as screwed with.

For a few moments part of me was expecting Tim to hit Jay with his car as he drove off (or at least clip him from driving recklessly,) though having that on your driving record probably wouldn't do much to prove the "hey guys, I swear I'm not crazy and delusional anymore" thing he's going for.

Yeah, I saw that on a second watching too. His voice is breaking, he maybe has a headache, he touches his face a bit and his left cheek twitches every now and then. And then there's a suspicious cut to black for no obvious reason. I think he filmed this after the punch to try to justify to Tim that he was really going to tell him, even though he still had doubts.

Also, unlrelatedly: Did Alex give Tim a camera all those years ago so that Tim could call the Operator without even knowing he did it? That would be a very efficient way of disposing of Tim. Not sure why that popped into my head after watching this entry, it just did.

Jay is so unassertive to begin with, and the fact that he wasn't expecting an immediate punch to the face probably threw him off. I can't say I'm surprised that he didn't bring up his own problems. When the guy you were hoping would help you is screaming in your face that his life is a wreck and it might be all your fault, you're probably not thinking very clearly.

Still. Poor Tim. Poor Jay. He looked horribly broken in those last few seconds.

ANOTHER RANDOM THEORY.
After re-watching the entry yet again, I noticed something else weird. At around 3:52, Jay switches from being extremely irritated and scared to sort of sarcastic and ominous when saying, "There's this girl, Jessica..." It almost sounded animated, like he didn't care as much about what he was saying.

This could just be Troy OOG having an acting-slip, or it could be significant IG as to the possibility that, Jay could be the one that's lying.

I'm not all for that possibility though.
Jay being the bad guy/proxy has always been a possibility that I like to stray AWAY from. We've gotten to know him too well over the course of three years for ME to stomach that possibility.

This x1000.

This has to be the reason why Jay talks to the camera in this entry, instead of using text. Text can be edited in later to say whatever, but the recording of Jay speaking prior to the argument is proof that he really was gonna speak to Tim.

Tim will have a change of heart.

I'm so happy with this entry. Like, my mouth was open through the whole thing. I can't think of anything to add. It's a guarentee that Tim will be back, and Jay will probably go check out the tunnel of love doom.

Tim's problems seem like short term memory loss, not multiple personalities. It would fit better with the series' theme of memory loss, Alex couldn't remember what happened in #22, Jay lost bits and pieces during season one, and of course the seven months of season two.

I also want to know if Hoody shares the same problem as Tim, or if it's something else, and what importance the masks have in all of this, if any.

Not necessarily. I got the impression that Tim's main beef was Jay not telling him the truth earlier.

Jay wrote:
I was gonna tell you tonight Tim, I swear.

Tim wrote:
Oh, tonight? Not last week when you drove me up to that hospital, or three months ago when you followed me outside my own doctor's office?

Did Jay have a perfectly valid reason to not approach Tim immediately and come clean? 'Course. But Tim doesn't seem to care too much about that. Whether or not he will once he cools down remains to be seen, but it isn't a sure thing either way.

I didn't see anyone else mention this...

At about 0:28 in, there is movement that can be seen out Jay's car window. It looks a lot like someone walking. It's too short to be the Operator. My guess is Hoody. It's pale, not black like his mask, but that could be his hood.

...ooor it could be headlights or something and I'm imagining this.
