I really liked this one. The character interaction/development was nice and made up for lack of developments. Tim pretty much summed up what people here seem to gripe about Jay nicely.

Another in game mention to the youtube channel was really cool as well.

Anyone else notice the bug at 4:00?

My money is on Tim goes home and in his anger trashes his place, but then finds the mask and either goes masky or goes back to Jay and demands that Jay help him figure out how to make him stop blacking out.

Tim: Tonight? Not last week when you dragged me out to the hospital...?

Tim just lost two weeks. Egads.

Amazing entry! Still feel bad for Jay though. He films himself because otherwise he'd be like Tim and have no idea what's going on, and he pursues the issue because he seems to be the only one out of all of them to realize that it isn't simply going to go away on its own. Tim's situation sucks, sure, but Jay's lost his home, his memory, and his past life trying to get to the bottom of a situation that he may not have even been a part of before he watched Alex's old tapes. Hopefully his rational doesn't waver, he may very well still be able to save Jessica, maybe even Brian and the rest.

Or the three week gap is itself plot important--note aidensean's call that Tim just lost two weeks. Makes one wonder what Jay's been up to in the meantime.

(Also, let's not forget that this isn't TV--regularly scheduled entries aren't very verisimilitudey.)

Sweet. I just learned a new word.

Unless some major development outside of Jay's control happens, looks like the next thing will definitely be Tunnel Time. Although if it's the former, it had better be Alex showing up cause that would be so freakin cool ohmgoshnowayr.

Also, you have to wonder what goes on in those several-per-month sessions with his doctor, if this is just now the first time Tim's getting a large chunk of the picture. There's probably more that Tim knows that he's not giving up easily (not just getting that from the dr. speculation).

I think that's a cat dodging into some bushes.

The lights look like a car passing behind some bushes or trees.

Does anyone find it interesting, that, if Tim is telling the truth, there has been no recent Operator sighting and no Operator symptoms(except for Tim's cough of course) in the series since Jay tackling the Operator in the hotel?

And that Tim's last appearance as Masky was when he tried to get Jay in the hotel?

Holy crap. You're right. There, chronologically, hasn't been any Slendy activity in over year.

And furthermore, Masky hasn't been seen since the hotel (though if Tim is to be believed, that's going to change soon) and Hoody was just seen for the first time in a year (chronologically.)

Outside of the whole sllee pno.w incident the past year and a alf of Jay's life has been pretty normal.

What does this mean? Is the Operator somehow defeated? Is this why he's missing? And what about Alex? The last time we saw him was the same day as the operator nearly a year and a half about, chronologically.

The plot thickens...

Well Troy said they were having scheduling issues. Also I took Tim's response to mean "you knew about this last week when you took me to the hospital but you didn't say anything then, you let me go another week thinking this wasn't happening"

This entry kind of bummed me out a little bit. I loved it as an entry, but it left me feeling sort of like "how is this going to progress now?"

I hope Tim realizes that Jay isn't entirely to blame here.

I usually read the entire entry thread before I comment on it, but I can't resist right now.

WELP.

Okay, I know I also said in that thread, that I was hoping something like that would not happen, but honestly, I kind of liked how this was carried out. It was executed very well, I could honestly feel all of the tension that Tim was feeling at the time, so much in fact, I was afraid. I really thought that he was going to kill Jay or something, and it scared the it-shay out of me. I also love this entry in that, it kind of proves what I've been speculating about Tim so far...that Masky is a seperate personality. I thought it was awesome how Tim franchised the broken leg. That was always kind of how I perceived everything. Now the question is, what made the split personality come about? A trauma, mind control...Ah wonder.

And for those of you who question what progress will come after this, don't forget about the tunnel.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Also, I don't know what's been said about Tim's acting so far, if anything, but seriously, like...do I even really need to say anything? He made me shake like a loose leaf in Autumn, and I'm seriously swooning right now.

Er... Tim was flat-out wrong; Jessica and Jay talked more than twice, didn't they? Before the hotel, then the few times after the hotel.

More annoyingly to me, why didn't Jay bring up the fact that Tim appeared after Jessica disappeared, or that it had seemed like Tim was trying to hurt him when he went after Alex?

Great entry, plot-wise, but Jay didn't even stand up for himself when he knows Tim's been there. I really like Tim calling Jay out for solely recording things, although it's not like Jay can actually do much without knowing anything. If he had, he would've gone after Timasky maliciously far before finding out Alex was the bad guy.

I really don't want Jay to be the bad guy. Maybe an unwitting pawn, and maybe some stuff behind the scenes is done because of him/by him, but pulling a complete Unreliable Narrator on us would be a cop-out, in my opinion.

Quote:

Could be significant... like he's in such turmoil that he manages to upload the video to YouTube (with quite a bit of delay from his last tweet!) but [doesn't have the moxie to/inadvertently forgets to/is slenderised before he can] post a matching tweet.

He's taken a while to tweet the video/neglected to tweet it before, I remember.

After re-watching the entry yet again, I noticed something else weird. At around 3:52, Jay switches from being extremely irritated and scared to sort of sarcastic and ominous when saying, "There's this girl, Jessica..." It almost sounded animated, like he didn't care as much about what he was saying.

I disagree. He sounds rushed to me, like he's trying to hurry it all out so Tim doesn't just leave.

He asked him if he remembered any tall people in business suits hanging around the set. In absolutely no way can that be interpreted as Jay dragging Tim back into the situation. However way you look at it, Tim/Masky - because they may indeed be different entities/personalities/whatever - attacked Jay of his own volition. The impression I always got was that Tim realized that Jay was getting a little too close to some sort of truth or realization, and then set up an ambush, especially when you consider the preceding totheark video.
