Theory time:

I'm beginning to believe that Hoodie is, alone, Totheark. He's been seen watching, leading Alex to be attacked by Tim as Masky, bringing Jay back his camera out of common courtesy, etc. Even during the attack on Alex, he just sat there while Tim/Masky threatened Alex.

He seems to be pulling the strings, and since he never shows up in a TTA video he's obviously the one behind the camera. He's almost like a puppet master, making cryptic videos and using footage of Masky, his little pet, to get to Jay for whatever reason.

I guess that makes more sense than what I heard it as, which was something along the lines of "Shouldn't film a black pizza!"

Also, if Jay's wanting out then it isn't the first time... he just needs some kind of totheark visitation to keep him going, probably.

Now that you mention it, I see it too. It's too blurry to say for sure. but if it IS a person, its face is white, not black like hoodie. Honestly, it almost looks like Tim's mask. But like I said, its so blurry that it could be anything.

I saw that too. Throughout the whole entry, I was thinking "HOLY CRAP THAT'S SLENDY." Still, would've been difficult to drop the camera at the exact point where the window was, unless it was done in post production.

Jay's a life ruiner.

He ruins people's lives.

Just watched it, and I have to say it's the most real any entry has gotten. Those tears at the end might show a development in Jay, like he thinks this might just be a waste of time now.

I thought it was more nursing his punched face

Yeah, if Jay was shedding tears it was probably because that punch hurt like hell.

Tims tale of finding Marble Hornets on youtube strangely hilarious?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I expected him to blow up, but not right off the bat. I did like the "I found the Youtube channel, jackass!" part.

What's the timestamp? I just finished a frame dump and I'll post the pics.

No, not just you. Jay being determined to protect Jessica in #52 is one of my favourite moments of MH, and that he's been able to reconnect to that feeling even though all his memories were wiped away makes me, well, ridiculously happy.

Exactly. So amazing.

This really reminded me of Fragments, on some level. Both Tim and Jay are just so broken. Tim has spent years of his life trying to live with the shattered bits of his memory, and Jay has spent that whole time doing absolutely nothing but having horrible things happen to him as he tries to do what he thinks is right.

On Tim being Masky – the last time we saw him as Masky LIVE was in the hotel. The last time we saw footage of him as Masky, chronologically, was Extraction. Unless that was just reused footage of Tim, Tim was acting as Masky after the hotel, which is the last logical time that he would have been wiped by Slenderman. That could work pretty strongly in favor of Masky being an alternate personality, and as a result, of us seeing Masky again.

Just for the record, Tim's attitude mirrors TTA's sentiments in some videos quite a bit. "YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING," "SO MUCH MORE THAN TIME HAS BEEN WASTED" Could have significance, but who knows.

Also I just realized that Tim pretty much got his revenge for that flashlight smack back at the hotel lol

YOU'RE WINNER

Which makes me wonder... what would have happened if Jay had burned Alex's tapes and never started investigating Marble Hornets? Would the Operator/TTA/whatever have succeeded in whatever plans they have? Would Jessica and Tim's lives be as messed up as they are now?

Or is Jay's involvement... gulp... an *entirely* self-fulfilling prophecy?

Well if Tim can't remember why he saved J that leaves us with 2 conclusions:

Tim is helping J or The Operator wants J alive.

Side Note-Just saw my brother in law debut on Burn Notice Season Premier.

Yes and yes. But they were posted after Entry 42, meaning that, if posted by Tim, his memory loss came after that.

See, but the flashlight smack has style. Tim only has anger.

This explains his lack of Twitter responses
I know if Tim yelled at me like that, and said those things, I would want to give up and end it. Maybe post a formal apology to Tim.
Thaaaat, or I'd just get uber pissed off, but it looks like hes taken the alternate route.
And Tim is def. going through denial, he wants to escape the fear of not remembering the past 3 hours, or days, or even the past 3 weeks. He's working through step 2 of denial, anger. Step 3 will be him coming back, saying sorry, and asking to help with this tall, slender problem. Then, in step 4 of his denial, he'll accept that he's not getting out of it and team up with jay
Step 3 an' 4 are very similar sooo...
